EXPERIENCE We are a husband/wife team with extensive animal & rescue experience working as dog handlers, dog walkers, and fosters PLUS almost 2 years of experience on Rover. My husband and I both grew up raising dogs and have each spent several years as dog handlers in multiple animal shelters and rescues, learning about training, behavior, and managing all kinds of dogs. We have always had rescue dogs in our home and we still actively volunteer weekly with Animal Humane Society and Midwest Animal Rescue as dog walkers and dog handlers. We both can’t get enough doggy playtime time and cuddles in our life and would love to spend some time loving and caring for your fur baby!

We are respectful and kind and know how important our fur babies are so we look forward to helping contribute to your happy healthy household! We both have extensive training and experience in animal handling and behavior to ensure your dog is comfortable and safe with us at all times and we can accommodate any unique quirks or preferences your pet may have.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PET - Any behavioral issues (We both have experience with a lot of common behavior issues and reactivity but want to be prepared ahead of time). - Any food or health special needs - Any favorite games, activities, toys. - Our animals all have their own unique personalities, so tell us about yours! Maybe they have a favorite toy they can't sleep without or will only go potty in a specific part of the neighborhood. Whatever the quirk, we are happy to accommodate :)
A typical day
We love all activities involving pets, whether it is a long walk, a session of fetch, or practicing some of their favorite tricks with them. You know your pet best, so let us know how they prefer to get their exercise or enrichment and we are happy to help!

Availability
SCHEDULE Nate works from home and I am hybrid, so we have pretty flexible schedules. We would love to work with your schedule to help give your pet some extra exercise or cuddle time! We currently do 30 or 60 minute walks and drop ins. These can be during the weekdays or evenings or over a long weekend while you’re out of town. We will accommodate your pet's typical schedule to ensure they can keep their routine even when their family is away.
