I’m available most days because I’m retired and would be willing to arrange sitting times to the owner’s wishes. Weekly or bi-weekly visits would work well to have a regular schedule. Both for me and for the comfort of the animal.

I do not have a fenced in yard, but live on a road that is travelled by the residents only. I’m happy to walk dogs whenever they need it, rain or shine. Cats we would have to talk about a litter box. Or meet at an appropriate place to walk animals.

I would like to have your special ‘treats’ brought in case your pet is enamored with a particular treat. I believe in low calorie treats. Also, any health issues or problems interacting with other animals is important. I only have a cat at my house and she can hide until she adjusts to the new animal.

There are rural neighborhoods around me, with ‘some’ other animals, but not a lot of them. There are parks nearby that could be ‘driven’ to if your dog can ride in a car well. And walks on the rocky coast of Maine could be arranged as well,

I’ve had pets at all stages of my life. Cats and a dog when I was living with my parents. Cats and a dog when I was raising my children. Cats and dogs as an adult. And most recently my 2 year old cat. My golden retriever had a litter of 8 puppies back in the 80’s and they were loved and found homes for all. I’ve pet sat recently with neighbors animals and enjoy interacting with them and learning their personalities.

Alison is a great pet sitter. She took great care of our two dogs and diligently sent us pictures and updates with each visit. We highly recommend Alison!
Alison gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was clearly well cared for and so was our home. She even gave our dog 2 walks a day…what a treat for our pooch! We would totally recommend Alison for overnight dog sitting.
This was our first time having Alison house and pet sit. It went splendidly. We got photos from Alison of our dog on walks and naps. Alison sent us updates every day. She offered to stay later when our flight got delayed. Thankfully, our flight didn't get delayed too much although it was comforting knowing we had a very responsible person available if needed. We'll definitely be asking Alison to pet and house sit again. I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs but only if you don't book her when we need her. Lol
Alison was great with our three kitties! She kept us updated on how they were doing and sent pictures. We loved that she stayed at the house as they are very social indoor kitties. We would definitely use Alison again!
