At Camp Puggle, your dog is family

Your dog will feel right at home in our home. Myself, Ali, and my husband, Eric will take your dog into our large home with a fenced in back yard for their running desires. We have playmates to keep them entertained, and have been fostering rescue dogs for the past eleven years. There is no need for a dog park when you are at our house! Your dog will be treated like one of our own- with meals, sleep arrangements, and play time. Your dog will NOT be spending their time alone in a kennel. We will keep up with your daily routine to the best of our ability- including sleeping arrangements, feeding times, potty breaks and walks in the quiet suburban neighborhood. We also provide daily photo updates to calm your nerves! We are a cat free home for those who may not be cat friendly. Why I love dog sitting: We are very passionate about our love for dogs and for saving them and have fostered over 80 dogs in the past 11 years of fostering. Meet my pets: Our dogs are around 20 lbs and are happy to provide entertainment to their weekend (or week long) new friend or to nap with them on the couch. About my yard: We have a fenced in suburban backyard, approximately a quarter of an acre. It is mainly flat and promotes games of tag with our furbabies. Medication: We are able to administer medication and have experience with syringe administration if necessary. Holiday care: We know you want to spend time with your family over the holidays and holiday weekends. We are happy to board your pup during that time - but have a few adjustments to ensure we can enjoy our holiday as well. We have a 2 night minimum stay on holiday weekends. We do not do drop offs or pick ups on the day of Thanksgiving or Christmas. On Christmas Eve, all drop offs must be before 5 pm. Thank you for understanding!

Not sure what magic you work but Archer (7 month Foxhound Lab Mix) came home happy, calm and healthy. Thank you both so much and Archer is looking forward to his next stay. ❤️

Allison was easy to work with and communicate with. Dogs had a nice big fenced in yard and doggy gates to keep them safe. They were waggy tailed and wet nosed when I picked them up. Would definitely book again.

Had a last minute trip out of town due to a family emergency. Ali and her husband were very accommodating and made me feel comfortable leaving my babies there. They had a great time and came home relaxed and tired. One of my dogs is super timid and she was comfortable being there and hanging on the couch. Will definitely be using them in the future when I need them. They went above and beyond and were helpful when flights got canceled and I got back later then planned.

Allison was wonderful caring for our dog, Odin. She and her husband were incredibly attentive and responsive the entire time we were away. Anytime I reached out for an update, she replied immediately, though she was already sending updates on her own, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while traveling. We even ended up extending our trip last minute, and Allison was so flexible and accommodating. Odin came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for. We’re very grateful and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to watch their pet.

Alison and her family was so sweet and communicative. I was so nervous leaving my puppy but they made sure to send updates and love him like their own. Hopper had a blast and is all tuckered out from playing with friends

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is our number one priority. Our fence for the backyard has been recently replaced with special mind to ensuring that a dog cannot escape. We only use our garage entrance to ensure there is a double door between your dog and the neighborhood - there is no bolting for the door. Additionally, we use a gate system in our garage to enhance safety.

Pets

A typical day

We have a fenced in yard for your dog’s entertainment! We will take your dog for walks around our suburban neighborhood near Mines Fall trails upon request or need. Your dog's sleeping arrangement We like to keep up with your routine- if your dog sleeps in the bed, we will allow them to sleep in our bed. If your dog sleeps on a dog bed, we ask you to bring that for their comfort. If they sleep crated, we will keep up with that routine.

We would like to know a dog's size/breed, activity level, training, daily routine and sleeping situation. We try to keep up with their routine and sleeping situation to the best we can, but rely on your sharing to set us both up for success.
