Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or requirements. Is your pet anxious when you're gone? Do they resource guard? Do they play rough or have a bark bigger than their bite? These are all important things to know! Some pets are triggered by hats or puffy winter coats. All the little details are important to know!

I'd love to get to know your pet's individual needs and likes! A typical visit will consist of a walk and/or outside potty time, feeding, medication if needed, and lots of love and affection. Positive reinforcement is a great way to earn their trust and I encourage owner's to have treats/toys available!

Hi, I'm Alison! I have always had a deep and compassionate bond with animals. I grew up in a household with cats, dogs, rodents and fish that really molded me into the animal lover I am today. I have years of experience in animal rescue, having fostered dogs and cats of all ages and backgrounds, as well as professional experience with in-home and facility pet care. I am experienced with administering medication, whether it be insulin shots, inhalers, or pills. Currently, I am the proud Mom to one stubborn old Pitbull and three cats. To me, pets are family. They are deserving of love, respect, kindness, and a fulfilling life. Every client I work with is treated with the same level of attention and care that I would give to my own pets.

Alison is the best!!! We met through a recommendation from a friend and she has been nothing but amazing!!! I was scared to leave my baby with anyone because he is a pitbull and very active but the sweetest pup in the world! She has always done so well with him and he's always so happy to go with her. She sends picture updates to let me know he is doing fine and it is such a huge relief for someone like me who is over protective of their baby! LOL... Long story short I would recommend her with 5 stars 🌟
Alison did the most incredible job caring for my dog while I lived in Des Moines. She is extremely reliable, communicative, trustworthy, and treated him like her own pet. My dog was so happy to see Alison every time I dropped him off, which really put my mind at ease when I went out of town. I was confident that in her care, he received tons of attention, love, exercise, and was always safe. I can't more highly recommend Alison to care for your dog. I wish I could teleport her to where I live now! She's the absolute best.
Alison is amazing with our dogs. She offers a lot of different care options, and we did a meet and greet at her home to make sure our pups got along with hers. It went great, and our dogs get so excited when we take them over there now! Alison is great at communicating and even sends text and photo updates. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
