Dogs have been in my life since I was 7 years old, when I was given a Jack Russell puppy for my birthday. He was the start of my interest in and love for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Throughout my adult life, dogs have consistently been by my side. I have mainly had rescue dogs, but also have experience of puppies. In the past, I owned a Jack Russell/Chihuahua/Yorkie cross who was quite a handful! I currently have 2 rescued retired greyhounds, who me and my family adore. I am a conscientious dog owner and look after and care for other peoples' dogs as though they are my own. I am aware that all dogs are different and each one has their own special way. Over the years, I have looked after pets belonging to friends and family. I have enjoyed looking after friends cats, even though I haven't owned one personally. I have, in the past, owned a rabbit and am happy looking after smaller furry pets. I have had experience of administering medication to most of my dogs, including my 2 greyhounds. I am fully aware of the importance of medication being given in the right dose and at the right time. I have a certificate in First Aid for Dogs. I have a genuine love of all creatures great and small.

I will look after your dog (or other pets) as well as I would look after my own. I am very aware of the responsibilities of being a pet owner. I will discuss all your requirements with you and ensure that I treat your pets and home with respect. I will make sure that any requests you make are carried out correctly. Whether I am walking your dog or feeding your pet rabbit, I will always ensure that their safety is paramount and that they feel cared for and content.

Cannot believe how lucky we are to have found Alison. Our puppy had only been with us 3 weeks when we needed someone to look after her for a weekend due to a pre booked trip. Alison immediately filled us with confidence, her main focus was finding out as much as possible about Mabel and her routine to make it as easy as possible for Mabel. We had loads of updates and photos while we were away and the house was spotless when we got home. Will 100% be booking again!
Rost had the best time with Alison, she’s friendly, took the time to ask questions about Rost before his first walk, absolutely fantastic!
Alison dog sat for us for the day at very short notice. She made time before the day to come and meet me and my dog. She made sure she took notes on everything she needed to know and made me feel completely at ease. This is the first time using a sitter, Alison responded promptly to all messages, kept us updated throughout the day on how Frankie was doing. She treated Frankie like one of her own and he seemed very content and happy when we got back. Alison is a nice, easy going person and is easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend and will definitely use again for future sitting needs.

Great comfort knowing that our dogs and our home are in such safe hands. Ali goes above and beyond to give our dogs a special time when we are away.
Ali looked after my two furbabies, Layla and our puppy Nova, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful dog sitter. From our very first meet and greet, Ali took the time to really listen to our routine, made thoughtful notes, and instantly put us at ease. Layla and Nova warmed to her straight away, which says everything. While we were away, Ali kept both my daughter and me updated with lovely photos and messages, which meant so much and reassured us completely. When we arrived home, both dogs were calm, settled, and clearly very happy — a true reflection of the care and kindness they received. Ali is an amazing lady with a genuinely kind heart. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their fur babies

Schedule
I have worked in schools and adult care services for most of my working life. At the end of 2023 I decided to follow my dream, 'seize the day' and work in the world of dogs (and other animals).
