Safety is always my number one priority in everything that I do. I pride myself on my ability to make sound decisions, and I will never do anything careless or that could put your pup in danger. I consider myself to be an extremely risk averse person, and always have safety at the front of my mind.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or things I need to be aware of. I want to be as prepared as possible to take the best care of your furry loved one. If your pup(s) cannot be left alone for at least 4 hours, the nightly rate will be doubled. This is considered a “constant care” rate. I am more than happy to accommodate your furry friend(s)!
A typical day
I love playing fetch with dogs, as well as going for long walks and letting them sniff everything to mentally stimulate their brains. I also train horses, so I have a lot of fun teaching my clients’ dogs new tricks unless asked not to!

Pet care experience
I have experience sitting for dogs from 180lbs to 8lbs. I also have experience caring for multiple dogs in a home or just one dog and am keenly aware of group dynamics. I pride myself on my understanding of dog behavior and body language, and I volunteer at my local rescue so I have been exposed to many different personality types and behaviors. I am comfortable walking rowdy, energetic dogs to dogs with great manners on the lead and dogs of any size (I own a horse, a large puller is no problem!). The top two things that I prioritize are your pup’s safety and ensuring that they have their needs met every single day. I also work from home and am able to keep your dogs routine as normal as possible to reduce any stress. My goal is always to make them feel like they are on their own stay-cation! I truly have your dog’s best interest in mind at all times, and I want to give them the best care that I possibly can. You can always ensure that your dog will be cared for and get the exercise that they need even on days with not-so-pleasant Indiana weather.

Alison was great! I had a few schedule changes and she was so flexible and easy to work with. While I was away, she shared updates and photos daily which made being away so much easier. I could tell that my dogs were very well cared for the entire time! She even walked the dogs going above and beyond! I will definitely be using her again in the future :)
I can’t recommend Alison highly enough! We found ourselves needing a last-minute pet sitter after our regular boarding kennel was completely booked, and she absolutely exceeded every expectation. She came to our home twice a day to care for our dog, and every visit included detailed updates that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Knowing exactly how he was doing, what he was up to, and seeing how much attention he was getting made it so much easier to enjoy our trip without worrying. One thing that really stood out was her punctuality. She was consistently right on time, often arriving at exactly the minute she said she would. That level of reliability is hard to find and meant a lot to us. Most importantly, she treated our dog like he was one of her own. It was obvious from her updates/report cards and the way she cared for him that she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and that’s the best review any pet owner can give. We will absolutely be booking Alison again in the future. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, caring, and professional to watch your dog or cat, don’t hesitate to book her. Five stars honestly aren’t enough!
Alison is the BEST! Wally loves to have her stay with him and I have so much peace of mind when she’s the one looking after him .
Alison was great with check-in’s for our pups! It’s great they can stay in their home and have someone we trust check on them and spend time with them to make them feel comfortable!
