Pet care experience

Here for your pets needs!

Let me reintroduce myself as it's been 2yrs since I updated. I'm Alison, I'm a mom to 2 young kids. I work full time and Rover part time. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own. Check out my pet section to read more about each of them. I've had a love for animals since I was a kid. I've had pets my entire life and started petsitting as an early teen. I've worked with a few shelters and done some classes on dog training and dog body language. I take the wellbeing of animals very seriously. My husband also helps me with the animals I'm caring for and sometimes is the one handling drop off and pick up. We just bought our home and are working to make it our dream home so somethings are a work in progress. We have a fully fenced back yard. It is mostly sand so your dog will get sandy, I can't help it. In the summer months we have a pool and misters in the back yard for the dogs and an automatic water bowl so the dogs always have water. Dogs are welcome inside and outside. If it's 100+ degrees i do try to limit outside time. There is plenty of shade but it's very hot here. Depending on the dog and owner i do have kennels if your dog feels safest there. All my dogs are kennel trained. If your dog is dog reactive AT ALL I'm sorry to say this isn't the place for them. I do not have the proper space to keep everyone safe and happy. If your dog shows any reactivity I will have to cancel the booking. Safety is my priority. Weekdays I work 8am to about 6pm thays why I don't accept doggy daycare on weekdays most times. My husband is home during the day but sleeps till about 230pm. I come home for lunch so if I'm boarding your dog then they will go outside for about an hour in the morning after everyone is fed separately. So they can stretch, play and potty. Then they will come inside,be it in a kennel or free in my room or the kitchen depending on the dog/owner preference. Then I come home for lunch so they get another hour outside. Then when my husband gets up and picks up the kids, they can go in and out of the house as they please. Friday half day to Monday someone is always home and awake so these are my primary doggy daycare days. I've had dogs who love to go out and play with the other dogs and I've had some dogs who prefer to stay with the humans and go on a short walk to potty away from the other dogs. I truly will try to work with you and your pets needs to the best of my ability. I try to always fill out the rover cards in full detail at the end of every visit. If I'm at work on week days, I'm not always able to answer messages quickly but when I'm able I will asap. When I'm home I admit I set my phone somewhere and forget where it is. I'm not intentionally trying to not give you information on your pet. Please feel free to send me any questions you have and I will answer I'm just not on my phone 24/7. Alot of pets are very anxious away from their humans and I have to be very watchful to be sure they aren't trying to escape or are going to hurt themselves in order to find their family. It's takes time and attention to calm their nerves. And I beg of you please know I'm a human this is our home,we live here, my chaos dogs live here. It can be cluttered. There will be kids toys and dog toys on the floor or Random socks. My kids are little they make messes. But it's clean I just don't kill myself trying to keep everything put away at all times.

Alison and her husband took great care of our dog Nora while we were visiting Antelope Canyon. Appreciate them taking her on short notice too!

Our dog had an excellent stay with Alison and her kids while we explored Page. They’re located right in the center of town so it was easy to drop him off and pick him up and she shared an update of how he was doing while we were out so I wasn’t worried about him. Would definitely recommend a stay with Alison!

I messaged Alison at the last minute on Rover here. She was prompt and getting back to me and made things very easy and flexible. It was a tremendous help to have someone day watch our Pomeranian Roscoe while we went to visit Monument Valley. We appreciate her service and her communication and will happily use her again the next time we come up here!

Never used rover before. I really wanted to go kayaking and Alison made it possible. Banjo was worn out playing with her kids. I will use her and her husband again next time I come through!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fully fenced yard. I also have a small or large kennel if you'd like your babies to be kenneled for their stay. All my pets are fixed and up to date with vaccines as well. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. If your dog has dog aggression issues this might not be the best place for them as there are a couple dogs here. Please keep in mind my yard is all sand so you dog might get a bit dirty/dusty and I have 2 kids so there are toys around. Dogs are welcome inside and out as they please. There is a kiddy pool and buckets of water in and out from them as well. If your dog shows aggression at drop off I will not be able to take them for safety reasons.

A typical day

You animal will never be home alone while in my care! Me or my husband are always home. I have 2 kids who would love nothing more then to run around and play with your pet! If you have a anxious pet or just one who prefers quiet I can accommodate that well. I even have kennels if that's what makes you baby feel safest!
