Pet care experience

Professional care Playful heart

I've spent a lot of time looking after dogs of all ages, and I really enjoy giving extra care to senior pups. I recently cared for my own rescue dog through his later years, making sure he was comfortable and happy right up until the end. I’m comfortable giving medication and know what it takes to keep older dogs feeling their best. I’m also used to looking after puppies and high-energy breeds—everything from Great Danes to shepherds and bird dogs—so I appreciate how every dog’s personality brings something special. My goal is to make sure every pet I care for feels safe, understood, and loved.

Allison was so warm and knowledgeable with our pup. She even taught her a few tricks! Thanks for spending time with Bella.

Alison is a bona fide dog whisperer! She relates to animals in a way that most people don't. In addition, she's very kind, responsible, and devoted to the welfare of all dogs. You really and truly could NOT go wrong if you allowed Alison to work with your organization!

I've known Alison for many years, and her love of man's best friend is one of the first things you'll learn about her. With her own dogs, she doesn't just feed them, she creates custom foods and meals for them. She doesn't just keep them warm in cold weather, she knits them beautiful sweaters! This is the level of dedication that she brings to petcare. Dogs will always be in Alison's life, and yours will be lucky to have this chance. Their paws are in good hands.

If you want someone who’s patient, responsible, and most of all has a deep love for animals this is your lady. You will not be disappointed!

Alison and I have been co-workers for a long time and we bonded over our love of dogs. I travel often for work and she has graciously watched over my dogs while I am away. It was not easy as I had two senior lab mix dogs that needed extra attention including meds multiple times a day and the need for physical therapy and gentle exercise. One of them was quite aloof and was "daddy's girl" but she took to Alison right away and we all know dogs have a great sense of character. In addition to my two senior girls, I have a younger lab/dachshund mix who is as energetic as she is stubborn but she is putty in Alison's hands.

Schedule

My job lets me work from anywhere as long as I have cell service or internet. I do need to join a few meetings now and then, but most of the time, my schedule is pretty flexible.

Safety, trust & environment

My home is dog-friendly, with a picket fenced-in yard and a quiet neighborhood, that’s great for walks and exploring local trails. I always keep a close eye on pets outdoors, and luckily, my area is filled with dog lovers. Whether it’s providing a safe quiet environment or plenty of attention, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable and cared for.

Pets

A typical day

Every day with pets is an adventure! Whether it’s playing an energetic game of fetch, discovering new smells and sights on walks, or heading to the dog park for some social time, I make sure every moment is filled with excitement and joy. I also love introducing fun brain games and puzzle toys that keep pets sharp and entertained. Of course, there’s always time for belly rubs, ear scratches, and cozy cuddle sessions—making sure your pet feels happy and loved is what it’s all about!
