I do not have any pets myself sadly. I have a very flexible schedule and can host pets at my apartment, do house visits, take pets on long walks, can even do runs with energetic pups.

A typical day
I love to do whatever would make your pets happy. I can take dogs on adventures, super long walks in the neighborhood, to dog parks, on quieter parks if they aren’t social etc. or I can keep it short and provide them a cozy relaxing environment to nap. Either way they will get a lot of love and attention - I’m open to whatever activities your pet needs.

Hello! I’m Alison - a lifelong animal lover that would be thrilled to care for your pets (really, I’m animal-deprived and it would make my day). I’ve been pet sitting for about 10 years and have experience with all kinds of animals, from feisty felines and shy shelter pups to horses, chickens, bearded dragons, donkeys, etc. I am experienced with unfriendly dogs and cats, elderly dogs, and puppies that are still learning good behavior. If you’d like I can run with dogs to tire them out or just take them on long walks, I live near multiple parks and would be happy to. I also have cat toys on hand and can play with and cuddle cats - truly whatever is needed. I’m reliable, easy to work with, and always attentive to your requests. I recently moved to Metuchen for my corporate job and, without having my old neighbors reach out to me for help with their pets, I decided to join Rover to find new pets to help watch. I would LOVE the chance to care for your pets - it would truly bring me so much joy!

Alison has been an incredible dog watcher with my dog Koda and Teddy. She is always attentive, loving, and responsive. She is always sending me pictures of the boys and keeps me up to date on everything while I'm away. It's always a pleasure having her with them and they absolutely adore her too!
