Hi, I’m Alison a lifelong cat lover and experienced cat owner based in Solihull/ Birmingham. I currently share my home with two senior cats, both with health needs, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone calm, reliable, and genuinely caring when you’re away. I know the anxiety that comes with leaving your cat while travelling, especially if they’re older, sensitive, shy, or need medication or extra attention. Cats have always been a huge part of my life since I was 4 years old, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. I’m patient, gentle, attentive to behaviour changes, and happy to work around each cat’s individual personality, whether that means playtime and fuss, or simply giving them quiet companionship and space to feel safe. As a cat owner myself, I know the little things matter: keeping routines consistent, clean litter trays, fresh food and water, medication and supplements where needed, and making sure your cat feels secure and cared for while you’re away. I’ll always treat your cats and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I also understand how reassuring regular updates can be while travelling. I always provide thoughtful communication, including photos, videos, and updates after visits, so you can relax knowing your cat is safe, happy, and cared for. I’d love to help give you peace of mind while you travel, knowing your cat is in very capable loving hands.

I currently offer care in your cat’s own home environment, where they feel safest and most comfortable. In my experience, cats thrive on familiarity, routine, and consistency, especially while their owners are away. Staying in their own space helps reduce stress and allows them to maintain their normal routines, surroundings, and comforts. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, medication (if needed), playtime, companionship, and plenty of attention tailored to your cat’s personality and needs.

Absolutely fantastic cat sitter, I couldn’t recommend Alison highly enough! 🐾 Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the regular video updates were brilliant. She also sent me voice notes, which was such a lovely extra touch and made being away so much easier. I always feel anxious leaving my cat, but I genuinely felt reassured knowing she was in such good hands. As a cat owner herself, she completely understood how important it is to know that your cat is happy, comfortable and properly cared for. My cat was clearly very happy and well looked after when I came home, which is everything you could ask for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Alison again the next time I go away. 10/10 ⭐️❤️🐱

Schedule
I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for daytime visits, evening check-ins, and more attentive care when needed. Because of this flexibility, I’m also able to respond quickly if any issues or concerns arise while you’re away, giving extra peace of mind, especially for owners of senior cats or cats with health needs. My own experience caring for senior cats has made me very attentive, calm, and observant, and I understand how important consistency, reassurance, and routine are for cats while their owners are travelling.
