As a chronically ill person maintaining a regular job is somewhere between difficult to impossible. Dog sitting provides me some very much needed extra income. None of my health concerns interfere with my ability to take care of any animals, unless your dog has very high exercise requirements. But especially if you want someone who has all the time in the world to hang out with your dog and give them attention, that’s exactly what I’m best at.

Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
I am excessively cautious person both in terms of animal safety and respect for a client’s space or belongings. I treat a client’s home better than my own, I pride myself on leaving everything as it was when I arrived, if not better.
Information Alison C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know how often you would like me to keep in touch, I can text you daily updates and pictures and let you know about any tiny concern or I can completely leave you be unless there is an emergency. Of course please let me know if your dog has any health concerns, if they have any medication and how they take it, your vet, feeding schedule, favorite toys, the more information about your dog that I have, the better I can take care of them.
A typical day
I get along best with animals who are total cuddle bugs, there’s nothing I love more in the world than giving attention to animals. However I am adept at understanding body language signals from dogs, whether they would prefer for me to stay away or when they need to go outside.

Pet care experience
I’ve been working with animals for the past decade, my entire career has revolved around animal care. I’ve studied as a pet trainer so I can recognize all the body language signals your dog is trying to communicate and might even be able to practice their listening. Being a dog trainer exposed me to all different kinds of dogs so I’m prepared for anything. I’ve also worked with cats at an animal shelter so I also got experience watching and taking care of all kinds of kitties.

Great as usual! We will always ask for Alison!

Alison is always so professional and reliable when she petsits for us!

She took our request last minute and provided spectacular service! Brought all of our packages in and everything! If you’re looking for the right person, stop here. You’ve found her!

Alison is awesome! This was our first time using Rover. We have 2 big dogs that are high energy. During our meet-and-greet, we could tell Alison was comfortable with their size and energy. She answered all of our questions and we felt good making the decision to choose her as our sitter. We came home to happy pups and our home was just as we left it. Will definitely book Alison again!
