Totally retired so available most of the time , I am able to be flexible and love a change of routine. I may be off looking after dogs if I’m not in but my husband and I share responsibilities to make sure each pet is never left alone for more than 3 hours unless you specify otherwise.

I'd like to know all about your pets- they're all different - what they like and dislike. Are they allowed on the sofa? Do you allow them upstairs ? What is their nighttime routine etc How confident they are, whether dogs get along with other dogs, are allowed treats or not, as well as other dietary or medical needs of course.
A typical day
Having experience in the Uk as a dogsitter, house sitter and dog walker, we moved to France in 2020 for a few years and would like to continue now in our 3 bedroomed home with only us rattling around in it. We have a fenced front and back garden a neat terraced area for shade - we have no real grass any more however. We enjoy walks along the lovely paths around here, on leads only for absolute safety. If I feel confident about your dog being off-lead, at your request I can accommodate that after a trial run.

I adore all types of animals and have had or cared for many dogs, cats, small animals, chickens and enjoyed the company of a few farm animals in my time too. I used to work in Admin but took early retirement to enjoy life and use my skills and experience regarding caring for dogs in particular. Like my husband I enjoy the outdoors and travel, we love a good walk and it's more purposeful and fun if we accompany a dog or two and we live just less than a mile from beautiful Leasowe beach. For walking services Walks for your dog/two dogs will be from your home on lead not from being in a van or car - walks will be as varied as possible so there’s plenty of good sniffing opportunities for them. We have had the privilege and responsibility for caring for cats and dogs in other peoples homes, as well as having our neighbours' cats and dogs to look after in our own. Dogs on the sofas is absolutely fine as long as we'll cover them with nice clean blankets for the duration of their stay and make them feel at home. We now have a hard-landscaped garden, sorry no real grass. I am only considering housesits along my with Andy my husband. We have done a number of home turf and international sits together very successfully. Thank you for reading my profile.

Alison and Andy took great care of my Chihuahua, Otto, for a couple of nights recently. From the moment I met them a few months ago, I knew they were going to be diligent, careful and responsive in the way they would look after Otto. I had no hesitation in booking Otto to be looked after by them. Otto was looked after exceptionally well by Alison and Andy. They are very experienced at looking after dogs and were very calm with Otto which helped him settle in. I gave them lots of information about Otto and they ensured they got all details before I left him with them. He had a thoroughly good time with them and they were very patient and understanding of him being unsettled at times as this was the first time he had been looked after by them. Otto had a great time and slept soundly most of the afternoon and evening after he came home! A big thank you to Alison and Andy for taking such good care of Otto!
I always feel confident leaving Luna with Alison - she's really calm, helpful, and thoughtful about Luna's needs. She is my go to person for longer periods when I'm away.
