Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced backyard If I have more than one dog I do communicate that and I typically have a separate space for each pup just in case that want to be left alone. If you would like your dog to be sat solo (which most of the times I do) just please let me know or again, I will communicate if I have more that one dog coming to visit. If I have more than one, they will NEVER be left alone with the other dog, feedings are always separate, and I slowly introduce them for safety.

Information Alisha W. would like to know about your pet

Here is what I would like to know: Any special needs Feeding schedule Activity level Any behaviors (chewing, accidents, morning energy, jumping, etc) Please be honest and transparent as it is better for everyone if you are! I will be as well! For dogs that are larger than 40 pounds I do need to confirm their activity and training. I say that because we had a dog visiting that would get very excited and she thought she was a small dog when in fact she was quite large. She would get excited and run through the house not knowing her size and knock down furniture and unfortunately trampled over my little dog causing an injury. She would also jump up and leave bruises. So, to avoid this, if your dog is a large dog, I may be able to take but need to clarify these things.

A typical day

Morning wake up starts with play and explore outside. Then breakfast (according to your schedule). We walk, play games and more. Lots of outdoor time! A lot of love and your pup will be treated like family - which includes a lot of love an attention in our house. I do enjoy hiking and can take the pup with for a hike if the pup enjoys those activities.

Pet care experience

If you have questions or a request please contact me! I have been taking care of animals for a long time! They will be happy and well cared for and might not want to leave! I will send you photos and can even set up a puppy cam for drop in video visits! Typical routine starts in the morning and I am a morning person…sit outside with fenced yard that I watch them on. Lots of play time and walks during the day/evening. I typically do bathroom breaks every 1-2 hours (unless crazy rains) as I don’t like accidents or marking in the house. If boarding will only be for one or two days, I typically stay home unless I have a previously scheduled appointment. I have a level 2 background clearance with the FBI and state and local law enforcement background check so you rest assured they are safe. I have rescued a total of 6 dogs over the years but 4 of them were seniors so they weren’t with us too long. Dogs and children have a good sense of character ;) I have a fenced backyard -Dogs are only out there when I am there as I don’t leave them out unattended despite the yard being secure. If you are out of town or wanted to FaceTime to see/meet before coming in person, I can accommodate! Typically the morning wake up begins with time outside. I sit out there while I am waking up and checking email and then come in to feed them. After feeding another bathroom break and playtime inside. Typically I take out every 2 hours to avoid accidents. I am typically home the whole time unless I have a prior scheduled appointment or running to the store. I feed dogs separately always.

Good and thorough. Followed my directions perfectly. Asked questions when I wasn’t clear. Comfortable leaving my beloved pets in the hands of Alicia!

Alisha was amazing from start to finish. From having to find a sitter the day of very last minute , she was super accommodating and open. She communicated all the time with updates and photo updates of Chi. She was amazing with Chihiro and I would definitely trust her with Alisha again in the future!

My baby hank has separation anxiety and Alisha did an amazing job helping him through this. He has never went to stay with someone he has never met before so he struggled a little bit but she kept me informed and took great care of him!
