I work full time from home and able to give frequent walks and potty breaks as my schedule is completely flexible. We live in big bay but I would gladly meet in Marquette for pet pick ups and happy to drive to Marquette for walk and drop in visits. We have a ton of toys and love playing all day long!

My dogs are always very welcoming of every furry guest that has come to stay. We do let our dogs free roam in the yard as they do not run away. This has always worked for guest pups as well but I am of course able to leash walk our guests as well on our yard walks. We will make our home as much like yours as possible including sleeping in bed or in the kennel or whatever your pet is used to and most comfortable with.

Maddie has arthritis and thyroid problems. Maddie takes a pill for arthritis and thyroid in the morning as well as a salmon supplement and joint supplement. She takes a thyroid pill with dinner as well. Leo takes the same salmon and joint supplement as Maddie in the morning.
A typical day
We wake up in the mornings and get outside right away to walk to see the goats and get the chicken eggs. One of our pups like to hop in the pond at this time for a little swim. We have breakfast and relax before going for a walk around the yard to find sticks and run around. The pets in our house have ropes they never touch but they LOVE their stuffed animals. We play all day long and go for frequent potty breaks and walks. We have a dirt road that is low traffic that we like to stroll down at night for a little extra exercise. We go for hikes in the area and swimming in Lake Superior down the road.

I’ve had pets my whole life. I’ve had big and small dogs and cats. We often dog sit for friends and family and our dog loves the company. We have a one year old son, two cats, and a German Shepard. All the animals love our large 26 acre yard with goats and chickens. All the attention is on our son, fur babies, and fur guests as I work from home!

My senior Lab, Gracie, was well cared for while I stayed 3 nights nearby at Big Bay Lighthouse B&B. Alisha was very good at answering questions and always replied promptly. Gracie made friends with their senior Lab during her stay. I highly recommend Alisha’s home for looking after your pup!
