Pet care experience
Your dog's second favorite human
I’ve been running my own dog-sitting/walking business for 14 years, and at this point I’ve shared a space with all breeds, ages, and personalities, including those with special needs and physical impairments. I’ve learned that every dog has their own unique routine, quirks, and way of feeling at home. My goal is to figure out what that looks like and meet them where they’re at, so I can give them a safe, happy home away from home.

Great first experience! She took wonderful care of Ella, and I’ll definitely book with her again.

My dog had just gotten surgery couple weeks ago and of course had an accident all over herself while I was gone 😭 Alisha didn’t even make it a thing. She cleaned her up, gave her a little wash, and made sure she was comfortable and taken care of. I was already stressed about leaving her after surgery, so having someone who handled everything so calmly meant so much. Thank you alisha!
Alisha was so professional and timely! Puppies loved her and she sent us lots of picture updates throughout! I was nervous leaving them with someone else at first, but Alisha made me feel like they were so well taken care of. Would definitely use her again for future trips instead of boarding.
Let me preface by saying that my dog has majorrr anxiety. Alisha was so patient and took the time to understand what made my dog comfortable vs not. She even recommended some natural remedies (like lemon balm) I’m incredibly grateful I found someone who cared enough to look at the bigger picture!
Alisha is quick to respond and very reliable. She sent the cutest video updates. It made being away so much easier knowing I could check in and see how happy they were. Would definitely book with her again!
LOVED ALISHA, the level of care is amazing. I can finally travel with peace knowing my boy is in good hands. highly recommend, especially if you’re in and out of town like myself. My pups only gripe is he is a little sad the day after Alisha drops him off lol (he just misses her).

Schedule
Weekdays: Remote tech job from home, which allows me to easily cater to your pet’s routine. Weekends: Homebody by nature, so they will always have company.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Inside (building): Dog-welcoming environment with a designated elevator. Inside (apartment): I like to set up a cozy space that’s theirs. From there, they’re welcome to interact and share my space as much or as little as they’d like. An unwashed shirt from the owner is always welcome to keep familiar pheromones nearby. Outside: A park with a safe walking path away from busy streets, plus plenty of shaded, grass-covered patches to keep their paws cool on hot Miami days.
A typical day
First step is learning from you what their day-to-day routine looks like at home: what they’re used to, what they do/don’t enjoy, eating times, walk frequency, and more. From there, I can keep things familiar or make adjustments based on their cues. Basically, it’s their world, I’m just living in it.
