I am currently working full-time but it is from home. I am able to stop by for visits between my meetings during the day, or after work, if that's preferred.

I make sure they are always happy to see me! If it's for a walk, I will get them set up and then immediately go out for the walk. They will get treats during the walk (if ok) and then after the walk (if ok). For cat visits, they will get the attention they like, play with toys, and make sure they have plenty of food/water and their litter box is clean.

I do not have a breed preference. I like to know their routine, commands they follow, and anything else that is important (favorite toys, etc.)
A typical day
We can go for walks around the neighborhood. If the owner is okay with the idea, I would love to take the dogs to a dog park.

Although I do not have a pet, I do have experience with them from growing up on a hobby farm. I grew up raising puppies, cats, horses, and other animals. I still love animals and try to spend time with them as much as I possibly can. I am an approved volunteer and foster through Secondhand Hounds. I also am a foster dog mom through SHH which I have been loving. It feels great knowing that I am helping a dog get comfortable in a home so that they will thrive even more in an amazing forever home when they are adopted! I love spending time with the pets that I watch, whether's it's hanging out while watching TV, going for walks, spending time outside, or playing catch.

Alisha was wonderful with our senior cat while we were on vacation. She was extremely flexible when we had some unexpected home renovations happening and really put our minds at ease. Our boy was well taken care of!
Alisha was wonderful to our cats and communicated with us throughout our absence. She was able to administer injections to our elderly cat which we appreciated.
As a first time user of Rover I was pretty nervous! But Alisha is amazing! I look forward to more occasions she’ll be able to take my Will on walks.
