Aside from owning cats and dogs my whole life I’m a credentialed veterinary technician with 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I currently work in a veterinary hospital and help with boarding, so I’m very comfortable keeping pets safe, happy, and on their normal routines. I use fear-free handling techniques and have lots of patience with shy, anxious, senior, and high-energy pets. I’m also experienced giving medications and caring for pets with special needs, so you can feel confident your pet is in knowledgeable, gentle hands. My goal is to make every visit feel calm, positive, and stress-free for your pet while giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

Schedule
I work full-time at a veterinary clinic from 8am–6pm, with Tuesdays and Sundays off and alternating half-days on Saturdays. Pet care fits into my routine during my days off, weekends, and evenings, allowing me to give pets consistent attention, care, and companionship when I’m available.

In my home, I have two dogs and three cats who are fully vaccinated, healthy, and well-socialized with both cats and dogs. I can safely introduce visiting pets at their comfort level or keep them fully separated if needed, as I have a dedicated space in my home for separation. In clients’ homes, I follow instructions closely, maintain a calm and respectful presence, and prioritize each pet’s comfort, safety, and routine.

A typical day
A typical day with me includes keeping pets comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. I focus on calm, low-stress care tailored to each pet’s personality and energy level. For active dogs, we enjoy walks, backyard play in my fenced yard, and enrichment games like fetch or sniffing activities. For cats, I keep things cozy with play sessions using wand toys, gentle attention, and plenty of space to relax or observe from their favorite spots. I also make sure pets get lots of affection, quiet companionship, and mental stimulation—whether that’s cuddles on the couch or respectful distance for more independent pets.
