Información que a Alisa H. le gustaría saber sobre tu mascota
I would love to know everything that will help me give your dog a fun, stress-free visit or walk. Age, breed, energy level, any fear-based issues or phobias, favorite games or toys, any behaviors you are working on that you'd like me to positively reinforce (for example, working on sits or walking with a loose leash), comfort level with a new person entering the house, and any other special quirks about your dog.

I am very familiar with the Forest Preserves and open spaces in the Northwest Suburbs and would love to explore one near your house (on leash, of course!) with your dog. I am also happy to walk your neighborhood if your dog prefers to stay local. I love playing fetch and tug, which are other great ways to get in some exercise. For drop-in visits, I am happy to run around your yard, throw a ball or just spend time scratching your dog's favorite spots. Beyond physical exercise and affection, I enjoy providing mental stimulation through some fun training games. We can work on skills your dog already knows or build new ones, if you like. A tired dog is a good dog!

Positive, compassionate care :)
Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
I've owned and cared for dogs for 20 years - big, small, purebred, rescues, couch potatoes, sprinters, easygoing, shy and everything in between. Throughout my life I've owned a Maltese, a Papillon and three Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I currently live with my Ridgeback girl, Ruby, and a Ridgeback boy, Moses. I have dogsat for many friends (and friends of friends) and family over the years and enjoy getting a chance to love on dogs that might be missing mom or dad. I have two year's worth of experience training shelter dogs and I currently train and compete in agility and attend classes weekly with my dogs. I love positive reinforcement training and would love to incorporate it into a visit or walk with your dog. I have a gentle, compassionate, force-free approach to handling dogs and will never do anything to intimidate your pup or "show him who is in charge." I believe there are more positive and productive ways to communicate with dogs that do not include fear or force. I always do a Meet and Greet before any bookings, I'd love to come meet you and your dog(s)! Oh, and I love cats too! I have had many cats clients over my last couple years as a Rover sitter, including quite a few that require medication.
Reseñas
Alisa takes good care of our dog. She is very reliable and caring. Highly recommend using her.
Thank you Alisa for taking great care of Tucker. He hopes to see you soon. You are the best!

Alisa was wonderful. We used her to drop in and care for our cat while we were gone for a week and she was excellent. Alisa kept us constantly updated and went above and beyond in caring for our cat. We would re book her in a heartbeat.

Alisa is awesome! Lonna loves her!
