Growing up in La Cañada Flintridge, my love for animals has been an integral part of my life since childhood. Dogs have always gravitated towards me, making it clear that caring for animals comes naturally to me. I believe dogs are truly a gift from above, sent to bring joy and laughter into our lives. Huntington Dog Beach is my happy place, where I can connect with these wonderful creatures and witness the pure happiness they bring. As a dedicated medical professional with over 25 years of experience in La Cañada Flintridge, I understand the importance of compassion and care. My my schedule is open. I dream of one day having a dog ranch where all furry friends are welcome, providing love and safety for those in need. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Alisa Harting for over 20 years, and she has worked with me as a Front Office Medical Assistant for more than 14 of those. Alisa is one of the kindest, most compassionate people I know—her genuine love for both people and animals shines through in everything she does. While I myself don’t have pets, I have no doubt that she would treat your pets just like family. Her attention to detail, calm nature, and nurturing heart make her an ideal caregiver. My mom is truly the definition of a dog lover. She has cared for animals her whole life and treats every pup like family—spoiling them with love, attention, and tons of cuddles. She's incredibly responsible, kind, and has a calming energy that dogs naturally gravitate toward. Whether it's daily walks, overnight stays, or just playtime in the yard, you can trust that your furry family member will be in the most caring hands. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a dependable and loving sitter.
Alisa has provided a great service for our household taking care of our 2 dogs which suffer from separation anxiety and have needed extra attention in our absence. They have food and medicine requirements which along with regular walks have have been made consistently in our absence. You can tell from the way they have bonded with her that were properly taken care of...we will to use her when out of town and highly recommend her service to others as well.
Alisa is the best! She genuinely loves animals and its apparent in the level of care she provides. She warmly greets both of our dogs by name and with lots of extra pets and snuggles on arrival. During her stay, she follows all of our instructions to a T and spends a lot of extra time giving them the attention they love. The dogs love her, its obvious by their reaction whenever she arrives. Highly recommend!

Currently my schedule is open for pet care. I am able to care for pets during the day but I also can do overnights as well.

I usually play this one by ear. I am open to whatever it is that your dog is used to and what the pet owners are comfortable with. Dog parks, walks, play and cuddles are my favorite!
