I’ve had cats my whole life and have cared for cats of all ages for over 20 years. I have fostered pregnant moms, seniors, and litters of newborn kittens. I’m experienced with anxious or reactive cats, feeding, bottle and bowl training, litter training, weighing, and administering medications. I understand how to earn the trust of shy or fearful cats and make sure each one feels safe, calm, and loved while you’re away. I’m also comfortable caring for small animals and have experience with birds.

Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I make sure each pet feels relaxed and cared for in a calm, clean environment. I always follow the owner’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules and playtime, to help pets feel secure and at ease. I take time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious cats, and make sure they have plenty of attention.

Alisa is officially my cats’ new favorite human. You can immediately tell she’s a true cat person because my two cats, who usually act like they own the place, warmed up to her right away. She was always on time, super communicative, and sent me photo updates. I never had to worry for a second while I was gone. I came home to happy and well fed cats and a house that was actually cleaner than I left it. She even watered my plants, which was never part of the deal, but she clearly knew they were dying and felt bad for them. My cats are already wondering when I’m leaving again so their favorite sitter can come back. If you’re looking for someone responsible, kind, and cat-whisperer certified, Alisa’s your girl.

Schedule
I’m a fourth-year medical student with a flexible schedule. I’m available for drop-in visits in the afternoons, and I also have availability on weekends and holidays. I keep my Rover calendar up to date and communicate clearly if anything changes.

- I like to know as much as possible about each cat’s personality and routine before caring for them. It’s helpful to know if they’re shy, playful, or prefer quiet company, as well as any medical needs, allergies, or medications. Please let me know their feeding schedule, favorite toys or treats, and any habits or triggers (like fear of strangers or loud noises) so I can make them feel completely comfortable and safe.
