Hello Pet Lovers! My name is Alisa, I am 38 with 20+ years of work and personal experience in: shelters, rescues, fostering, pet care, training and vet assistance with animals of all types. Pet care is my full time job, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to ensure your pet's safety and happiness is my priority (they get 100% of my attention). During our free consultation we will work together to develop an individualized care plan for your pet(s). I am privately insured, up to date on pet First Aid/CPR and carry a first aid bag to all services. Care is focused on using my experience to be attentive, engaging, dedicated, reliable, and trustworthy in providing the best care possible for your pet(s). Over my adult years, I began working for a local shelter system while finishing my degrees as a therapist. I quickly got involved with rescue and now have had the honor to have fostered over 100 dogs and cats finding them forever homes and a new chance in life. With my years of fostering and work experience, I have worked with a variety of breeds of all sizes with medical, behavioral and social issues. Through the years, I've gained experience giving shots, drawing blood, giving IV fluids, and administering oral and topical medications. I have endless and unconditional patience with all animals of different ages, energy, behaviors and personalities. 🐾Why Me?🐾 I am focused on quality care and active engagement and always adapt my day to fit their needs whether it is physical, mental or emotional engagement. I believe in providing various enrichment activities in their day tailored to your pets (kongs, puzzles, snuffle and licky mats, flirt pole, games and more). Everyday is filled with new adventures, loads of cuddles and love, lots of conversation, belly rubs, butt rubs, and doggy massages especially for those older/active ones with arthritis and special needs. I can provide support and reinforcement for leash walking, basic obedience training, specific exercise, bathing/nail trim services as well as administering medicine or specific diets, if needed for dogs, cats, horses and all your critters. 🐾Boarding🐾 Boarding services in a home environment (no kids, no personal pets) where comfort and personalized care is the priority. Your pet(s) will have the freedom to enjoy their time away from home, kennel free and with individualized attention in addition to less noise and stress. I focus on quality care to meet their needs physically and emotionally. Daily care includes providing love, attention, affection, physical exercise, play time(indoors/outdoors), homemade treats, mental engagement (practicing and learning new obedience skills), enrichment activities, administering medications, preparing special dietary meals, personalized updates with photos/videos, household care and more. My pet care includes bringing a variety of interactive activities for daily enrichment for your pet(s) such as puzzles, snuffle mats, licky mats, flirt pole, wobbler & kongs, frozen and homemade treats, sniffing exercises and dog games. My goal is to provide care that aligns with your dog's needs and exceeds your expectations while maintaining a stress-free environment. Of course, we always have downtime to snuggle, watch a movie, or enjoy observing the florida wildlife from the shade of my lanai. I utilize my education and experience as well as procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and comfort of your pet(s) while in my care. 🐾 Premium House Sitting🐾 In-home pet sitting is a luxury service for your pets that you want to stay in the comfort of their own home while enjoying companionship, love and attention from a caring professional. My focus is to meet your pet(s) needs at their level whether that be daily mental, physical and/or emotional engagement. Your pet(s) enjoy the ability to have personalized care tailored to their needs and wants without the stress of a different environment, other animals, travel induced anxiety and an unfamiliar schedule. Daily care includes providing love, attention, affection, physical exercise, play time(indoors/outdoors), homemade treats, mental engagement (practicing and learning new obedience skills), enrichment activities, administering medications, preparing special dietary meals, personalized updates with photos/videos, household care and more. I do not charge extra for visits, walks, experiences and activities in the daytime spent with your pet(s). My pet care includes bringing a variety of interactive activities for daily enrichment for your pet(s) such as puzzles, snuffle mats, licky mats, flirt pole, wobbler & kongs, frozen and homemade treats, sniffing exercises and dog games. These are great for those that need someone to provide consistent support for your pet(s) during that time away. Benefits include helping you pet stay on schedule, ensuring timely medication needs, or keeping them physically and mentally active. Whether they need a meal and some love, a walk around the neighborhood, or a backyard outing to let that energy out, a Pawp-In visit can address all these needs. 🐾Kitty-Cat Care🐾 Cats can seem self-sufficient, but the truth is they enjoy having humans around just as much as dogs and form deep attachments to their owners. Some cats show anxiety and stress when owners leave by excessively meowing, destructive behaviors, urination problems, boredom and even depression. Kitty care is unique and just as important. I am aware that cats have specific needs and behavioral quirks for their care. I understand their body language and pay close attention to respect their boundaries. Of course, I make sure to meet them at their level (whether shy or playful) to ensure their happiness and comfort. Whether through physical affection, playtime, conversation, patience and companionship, I make an effort to meet all their needs. I have a kitty bag for extra fun with laser pointers, chasing toys, puzzles, catnip and more. In additional to addressing their special needs (medical/dietary/behavioral), I make sure to clean their bowls and litter box(s) daily and always have fresh water available. 🐾Pet Taxi, Sniffing Adventures & Waste Removal🐾 If you don't have time in your busy schedule to take your pet(s) to the vet, groomer, trainer, or other appointments, I am happy to provide a safe, secure and reliable ride for drop off and/or pick up services (companionship services to accompany pet during services are offered as well). I also provide longer adventures if a short walk is not enough or you feel your dog(s) deserves a doggy-day out. If you don't love picking up the poo, let us do the doo!
