Happiness-

UPDATE: I've been so lucky to find Rover!!! I've been a sitter, walker, & drop-in provider since Dec. 2021. It brings such happiness to get to enjoy the companionship, snuggles, walks, kisses, nose rubs, personalities, facial expressions, curiosities...of so many amazing tiny family members, AKA dogs, puppies, & cats. My availability is changing & I'll mostly be available for in-home care/boarding at my home Thursday evening through Sunday evening. However, the potty break on Friday will sadly be at about 8.5 hrs. until I return home. That said, I will hang out & walk w/ your sweet Thurs. evening, Fri. morning, Fri. evening, & throughout the weekend several times a day-it's only on Friday that it will be a long day for your lovey (but lots of love in-between the long day). Overall, I can still do pop-ins & walks any day of the week as long as early mornings &/or evenings work w/ your schedule. Thank you to those who have shared your sweet tiny tiny, small, & medium family members w/ me & to those who may in the future:-) Feel free to browse the gallery for a glimpse of the fun:-). Alisa, October, 14, 2022. BACKGROUND Our family has almost always included dogs (Pooh Bear & Maddie are in the photos), cats, hamsters, & fresh water fish. We now consist of humans plus two amazing guinea pigs, Pumpkin Jr., & Yalith (sadly, Pumpkin Mommy & MC Squared recently died) & three freshwater fish, Jackie, Annabeth, & Stella. Our cat Goldy, who found us years ago, went to live a life of luxury w/ my parents & their dog Winston, later joined by three more dogs, when we moved to OKC (Goldy it seems is the boss & other than the wet noses, appreciates their friendship). We also often get to be the "holiday home" offering extended stay for school guinea pigs:-). When we can, we love/help/rescue/return animals that have "escaped" the security/love/warmth/fun/easy food/fresh water/snuggles/admiration/safety...shared by humans as they seek adventure out of the house/yard & those without homes. These lovelies have included cats & dogs...Mama Kitty, Silibub, Skimbleshanks, Rocky, Molly, Roscoe, Goldy, Larry Rose, Steve, Lucy, Amor/Luna, Tuxie, Rowdy, & Tiger Lilly. I was impacted by pandemic labor reductions at the University of Oklahoma & thus entered the world of Rover as a way to help make ends meet. However, it has evolved to so much more than I could have ever hoped-it has been extremely rewarding to get to know so many amazing animals & their likewise amazing families:-). They just make me happy & hopefully the animals feel the same way, hehehe:-) Since we have guinea pigs we cannot welcome cats or dogs into our home, unless we are speaking about tiny dogs that cannot peek or jump into their habitat. We have a wooden fenced in yard & do not live on a major street or have a swimming pool. Also, I stay outside of course in backyard w/ a visiting dog as they can be squirely & innovative in their attempts to explore the broader world (you are welcome to check-out the fence & yard)...

Alisa is absolutely wonderful with my dog, so much so, he gets excited to see her. She is so very warm and loving of my dog when he is with her, that I have no worries about his well-being. She is also very pro-active in providing updates on my dog's daily routine with her, with occasional photos of his activities. I will always us Alisa at every opportunity possible!

Alisa is always my first choice for a Pet sitter. She is always very friendly and loving to my dog. She sent me photos of him during walks, play, and rest every other day to let me know he was okay. She is definitely my recommendation.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced in yard & go outside with visiting dogs, or if super cold, I watch them from the door (& offer many compliments when they do business). Also, there is not a pool in the back & no other dogs are in the house. On walks, a leash is always used & I stay alert to cars, plus walks will be on neighborhood streets or with approval, at a walking trail.

Pets

A typical day

Pop-in Visit: I will greet your dog/cat with happiness, talk to/with them, say their name, love on them (unless they make it clear they are not interested), belly rubs, behind the ear scratches, fresh water, let outside...pretty much whatever you and they want:-) Walk: I would love for your dog to join me on a walk for shared companionship, fresh air, sunshine, exercise, & to let them keep up w/ what is going on in the neighborhood as they smell, pounce, trounce, & leave their scents about. Also, if they really like to walk, if you think they'd enjoy it, we can go to several walking places/trails that I like & I'm quite sure they would love (my dogs did). Boarding-All of the above, plus backyard time & couch snuggles-typically 2-3 long or short walks a day, depending on what visitor wants/needs:-)
