Baby gates and keeping dogs tired out with enrichment activities like scavenger hunts, puzzles and games. No long lasting treats out to eliminate any resource guarding. Our backyard is fenced off completely and there is no pool.
Information Alin K. would like to know about your pet
Do your pets have any special needs? Any chronic pain I should know about? Does your dog prefer walks or enrichment activities? Does your dog like to work or train? What is your dog afraid of? Are there any behavioral issues we can tackle together? I want to know all the details!
A typical day
Start off our morning making note of what a biiigg stretch that was!! Then off for a quick potty run in the backyard before coming in for breakfast! Immediately after breakfast is our “after breakfast treat” because of course. Then we’re off on our first walk of the day (assuming weather is 70s or below) we’ll walk a mile to the park, play “find it” w treats at the park. Hydrate. Chill out. Sniff. Repeat. Then we’re back home for a nap! After nap time we’re ready to play tug or fetch at home, or do some training, scavenger hunts, or puzzles. Quick potty break in backyard again. Then it’s dinner time! After we lick our bowls clean, we’re off on our evening walk in the neighborhood. This is the dogs’ “scrolling time”. Can’t rush the process. Once we’re back home, it’s about time to “settle” for the evening so the humans can get some stuff done. My motto is “a tired dog is a good dog”

Friendly neighborhood dog walker!
Pet care experience
Hi! Glad you found my profile. I’m available 5 days a week mornings and afternoons for dog walking and pet sitting! Check out my availability below. I have 2 dogs of my own, both of whom are very spoiled I will admit, but I love my dogs and I think they deserve the best! I’m a passionate advocate for animal welfare so I do my best to treat all beings and our environment with respect. As your friendly neighborhood dog walker, I promise to treat your pet like my own. That means being in tune with their needs, keeping them safe, showing them love, and offering exercise, enrichment, and the joy of life! What kind of pet do you have? Do they have any special needs? And when are we meeting up for a walk?! ☻

Alin was awesome with Jester during her drop-in visits. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly made him feel comfortable. You could tell Jester really enjoyed every time she stopped by.

Great sitter - my dog loves her! Excellent communication too.

Alin took wonderful care of Albert while we were away. She was always on time, followed all of our instructions carefully, and made sure Albert got his outdoor playtime in the backyard while staying safe. She brought him back inside safely, fed him, cleaned his litter box, and gave him plenty of attention. I especially appreciated the detailed updates and photos she shared through the Rover card. It was reassuring to see how happy and comfortable Albert was throughout our trip. We also had to make a few changes to the schedule, and Allen was very accommodating and cooperative. I’m so happy that my British Shorthair took so well to his new sitter. Finding someone trustworthy who genuinely cares for your pet is invaluable, and Alin exceeded our expectations. We are excited to have found a long-term cat sitter and would absolutely love to book her again whenever we travel. Highly recommended!
I always get nervous having to leave my dog Tubby, but Alin has been a life saver. She provides me with lots of updates, and is attentive and caring to my anxious dog’s quirks. Tubby is always so happy to see her. Alin gives me total peace of mind whenever I need a sitter or walker!
