I am certified crazy cat lady! I have been very blessed to have had cats in our family for years, so caring for them is part of everyday life. I’ve had the privilege of cat sitting cats of all ages, from playful kittens as young as 4 months to gentle senior cats who need extra support. I tailor my care to each cat’s unique needs, whether that means following a special diet, keeping to their exact routine, or giving them the right mix of play, stimulation, and calm. I’m experienced in adjusting my approach to suit different personalities, ensuring every cat feels safe, relaxed, and understood. Sev had a lovely time staying with Alima, getting all the fuss and love that he needs. Alima also sent me regular updates, including videos and cute photos of Sev which meant that I didn't have to worry about him at all. From my experience, this is a far better option than leaving Sev in kennels and I will 100% be rebooking with Alima for my next long trip!

Amazing service provided by Alima, we would highly recommend her for looking after your cats. We left our 2 kittens with Alima and Ben for a few days and they were extremely well looked after. We received regular videos and photos everyday and our cats always looked happy and content. We will definitely be bringing our fur babies back to them whenever we go away. Thank you so much x
Alima was great taking care of my cat! She was friendly, reliable, and really seemed to care about my pet. I got updates, pictures and felt really assured that my pet was in the right hands. Alima was so warm and friendly with our cat. She had a room set up for her and gave her space to get comfortable and come out of her shell on her own. Despite us booking last minute, Alima was open to hosting our cat, and kept us updated with pictures and videos. Our cat definitely had a great time at Alima's, and we'd definitely book a stay with her again!

Schedule
I’m very lucky to work from home Monday to Thursday, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for any pet in my care. With long weekends free, I can give your cat the attention, love, and routine they’re used to—whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or quiet company.

I take the safety and comfort of every pet seriously. In my home, we have three spacious upstairs bedrooms with large windows that fill the space with natural light. The area is calm and secure, equipped with cat towers and a variety of toys, giving your cat(s) the freedom to explore, play, and find their own cozy, safe spot to relax. I work from home Monday to Thursday and have long weekends free, allowing me to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Your pet will never be left alone for long periods, and I aim to maintain their usual routine as closely as possible to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved. I am fully insured as a pet sitter, and we have a trusted veterinary clinic just four minutes from our house for added peace of mind.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I always take the time to get to know their personality and preferences! For playful cats, I love interactive games with feather wands, and puzzle toys to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. For calmer or older cats, I offer plenty of cosy cuddle time, gentle brushing, and quiet companionship in a sunny spot. I also create little enrichment moments—like hiding treats for them to find, setting up window-watching perches, or rotating toys to keep things fresh and fun. Most importantly, I make sure they feel loved, secure, and entertained in a way that suits them best.
