Hello everyone! My name is Storm and I'm located right by Green Timbers in Surrey! I've always loved animals of all kinds but had a special connection with dogs which led me to enroll in and complete the YWCA program "Off The Leash" Through this program I received certifications in: •Pet First Aid •PIJAC-Dog Talk (and /Canine/Feline/Small Mammal) •Canine Connections (Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence with Dogs) •Super Host Customer Service •Fetch Find -Canine Behavior & Communication -Dog Training for Pet Pros -FetchFind Feline Fundamentals -Introduction to Safe Handling -Dog Daycare & Boarding Basics Now I'm looking to build my own business focusing on animal care using only positive reinforcement training methods. I have previous experience working at a Doggy Daycare as well as providing animal care in client's homes. I have worked with animals that have mobility issues, behavioural issues and health issues which require medication to be administered. Storm took such great care of Finn, who is high needs and high energy. They are very knowledgable about dog behaviour and needs, and showed Finn a lot of kindness and love. They provided regular updates on how Finn was doing, including pictures and videos. I would very much recommend Storm as a dog sitter, for their expertise, and their care and attention. Wonderful location for the dogs too, very close to the seawall! Lots of quiet neighborhood streets. Thank you Storm <3
Storm has been an outstanding caretaker for my 12-year old lab Oliver with special needs. Oliver is quite reactive to other dogs, cannot be left alone at all due to separation anxiety, and needs to be given medication at regular intervals. Storm has had Olli overnight on a number of occasions, has taken him for short periods countless times, and regularly visits him and takes him for walks. Olli is not always an easy dog to deal with, but Storm has done an impeccable job every single time. They are dedicated, caring, and kind and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
