DO NOT HIRE ALIK!!! Alik decided to walk my dog without his harness on, regardless of my clear directions that he should never walk without both his harness and collar, and said he "disagreed" with my decision to walk him without the harness - this is completely inappropriate and unprofessional, and most importantly, unsafe. On top of that, my dog who has regular bowel movements had extreme stomach upset with diarrhea immediately after I picked him up for Alik's and the whole day, to which Alik said that he leaves the trash cans that have food in them out overnight while he is in a separate room and doesn't dog-proof his house because it's not "his responsibility". On top of all of this, he doesn't send daily updates of photos or videos unless you beg, and then he sends you a picture from the back of them walking half the time... Alik has a bad attitude and isn't easy to work with. I've worked with other Rover sitters that are so kind and communicative and send precious photos and videos and letting you know your dog is okay, NOT Alik. Lastly, I booked a trip around his schedule once, and then told me he wasn't available after my flight was booked.

Alik took great care of Dembe and was very communicative and thoughtful of any needs that might pop up.
