I am available to look after pets at anytime everyday until October as I am a full-time university student, therefore, would only be free to take care of pets full-time on weekends after October once I start my studies.

I would be more than happy to follow any care instructions I recieve, I could easily place your pet in a crate if needed, feed them, play with them, administer any medication if needed and take them on several walks throughout the day.

If the pet has any special needs, if they need to hve medicine administered to them and if so how often and in what doses. Knowing the pets daily schedule is also important in order for me to follow that as closesly as possible.
A typical day
I would be able to provide not only physical but also mental excersize for your pet if advised. I would be able to provide mental excersize by, for example, hiding treats in a rolled up towel allowing your pet to figure out how to unroll the towel to find the treats. If needed I would also be more than capable and comfortable with teaching your pet new tricks. I would take them on several walks to places around Swansea such as Penllagaer woods, Caswell beach, Bracelet bay and more!

I have several years of pet care and animal experience, I have owned a miniature schnauzer for the past 10 years that I solely take care of. I possess experience of taking care of both small and large dog breeds as I have taken care of my friends dogs for the past 3 years now, they own 4 golden retrievers, a pointer and a french bulldog. I have also taken care of a golden retriever with a litter of 9 puppies. I have also volunteered at Gower veterinary surgery for the past year in which I assisted in consults as well as pre and post-operative care of the pets. I also administered medicine and booster vaccines to the pets, and if necessary would be capable and comfortable with administering medicine. I have also completed a 3 year bachelor’s degree in zoology and am currently a third year veterinary medicine student. Alongside 12 weeks of veterinary placement throughout my current degree. Therefore, I have a broad knowledge and understanding of animal behaviours and animal care.
