I am a marine biologist with a passion for animals. I've worked for the past 10 years in dog daycare, boarding facilities and as a professional dogwalker and pet sitter and was on the board of an animal rescue nonprofit for 4 years, fostering both cats and dogs (where I foster failed 2 cats!). I have been certified in pet CPR and am comfortable administering medications. I am very experienced in taking care of all types of animals (birds, rats, guinea pigs, fish, etc.) and all sizes and ages. I look forward to taking care of your pets like they are my own! I have an 13 year old Australian Shepherd and 2 cats in my home and have fostered over 100 animals in the past from neonates to geriatrics.

Alicia and her sweet family welcomed Ollie into their home for a 10 day stay. This was Ollie's first stay away from home and Alicia did her best to make him feel safe and comfortable during his stay. Upon pickup he was healthy and happy - would not hesitate to book again!

Alicia was awesome. She was able to go check on my dogs with just a few hours notice while my wife went into labor. She provided pics of the pups, spent time with them and made sure they were comfortable and happy. Will 100% be booking again, and suggest anyone else who is looking books with Alicia as well.
Alicia won over our shy cat on day one. It was so nice to come home to a happy little guy who got love and affection every day we were gone!
Alicia is great!! She accommodated my last minute request for daycare and was very easy to communicate with. My puppy had a blast playing - very happy and comfortable when I picked her up. I’d book again with Alicia anytime!

Schedule
I am a furloughed federal employee and currently have plenty of time on my hands for your beautiful pets! I can accommodate last minute bookings and can spend extra time if need be.

I have a large yard (unfenced) for your pup to run around and can take them on walks down our dead end non busy street. I am happy to play, snuggle, etc. anything your pet needs to feel comfortable during my stay.

A typical day
Depending on your needs or desires, I can be flexible in the activities we do while your pet is in my care, just ask! We can go for walks or hikes, run around, lots of couch snuggles, or a favorite park. Just let me know!
