I grew up with dogs and have had at least one of my own for the last 20 years. They truly are the best friends! We have a sweet 3-year old rescue poodle mix, Mimi, who does really well with other dogs. We'd love to have your dog or cat stay with us and join in our walks and hikes and cuddles! I have had a reactive/leash reactive dog and as much as I know they can be the sweetest pups when on their own, I can't take on these dogs anymore. It creates too much anxiety for me. I live on a street where there is a constant flow of neighbor dogs both on and off leash and the trails are packed with dogs these days so it's a guarantee we will meet other dogs while we are out and about.

Alicia and her two adorable girls took wonderful care of our cockapoo! I almost hated bringing him home since I knew he had had such a great time. We have found our dog's sitter for as long as she is willing to take him. Can't recommend more highly!
Alicia was very communicative and helpful while she took care of our dog. We got lots of pictures and it looked like he had a blast on his mini-vacation. We will definitely look to rebook :)

For as long as I've known Alicia, I've known what a kind heart she is to all of the people and animals in her life. She has a huge heart for the animal world and it shows with how lovingly she treats and advocates for them. My dog lights up every time we meet for a hike and Alicia is one of her very favorite people- I have 100% peace of mind when her and her sweet family are watching my dog.

Schedule
I work from home and love to get outside and explore the beautiful trails around Bellingham. When not out sniffing the trails me and your pet will be snuggled up relaxing together.

Safety, trust & environment
There is a fence area for visiting pets to relieve themselves (it includes about 10 stairs). I love to hike and walk and will make sure your pet gets all the movement they need. I love to snuggle too so when not out and about you can rest assured that your pet is getting lots of love and cuddles.
Pets
A typical day
We will spend time outside everyday! I live close to lots of fun trails and places to play. At home your pet will get lots of pets and love. Please not reactive/leash reactive/agressive pups. I have had these dogs and they are special and need love but I can't manage them at this time.
