Hello Everyone! My names Alicia.I have an extensive background with many animal species. I have owned Dogs, Horses, Cats, Chickens, Goats, and Reptiles. Animals have been in my life since I was born.I was a Dog Trainer and owner of "Rose City Dog Training" speacilizing in behavior modification and obedience through a reward based training program. I grew up assisting my mom with her dog care, training, and grooming business. I have always loved working with animals, and am glad to offer my years of experience to Scarsdale families. Dogs aren't just my passion, I want to make working with them my career.I have also fostered neglected animals. I believe every animal deserves a second chance and a forever family. I have an open schedule. I can be there any time of day or night to ensure your pet has the proper care he or she needs. I love all dog breeds and have had experience with all sizes! I have plenty of references so don't be afraid to ask! As I mentioned, I have trained dogs and I am dog training certified servicing Scarsdale and surrounding cities. My first job was grooming dogs with my mom. I showed dogs in conformation, obedience, and agility classes. I have no breed preference. I love and have experience with all dog breeds. Years and years of hanging out with dogs has rendered me basically telepathic; I am able to ensure your pup’s comfort by being able to sense their personality and what that type of personality requires. That could be a nice run to get some energy out or a cuddle session to try to calm a nervous pup down. I am very patient and calm with dogs. I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups & other animal babies….Park visits, maintaining meal routines/ medication routines. I will have open availability on however each animal needs for my presence, love, and care I make sure to spend plenty of time with the fur babies in my care, I will stay full time, part time whatever is needed to ensure the safety and, love of all animals.
