Let me know if your pet needs any special care so I can make sure they get everything they need. It’s helpful to know how much exercise they need on a daily basis and if they aren’t good with other animals.
A typical day
I do not have a typical day as I work at the vet school and will be taking classes throughout the year. Generally I have the most time in the evenings to spend with your pet making sure they get lots of love. I love to go for walks or give belly rubs while hanging out during home stays.

I have been caring for dogs as well as other animals since elementary school, including dogs who need medications three times per day. I love working with animals and making sure they are happy and healthy which is why I'm pursuing vet school. I am available to feed, walk, play, work on training, and give medications to your dogs and cats. I have worked at the vet school and a local veterinary clinic so I am very familiar with all types of animals and their care needs. Just let me know if there are any special needs for your pets and I can provide it. I am happy to travel anywhere in the Blacksburg/ Christiansburg area for you.

Alicia was the best. I've never had to leave my Penny with non family but as we recently moved away from family and needed a beach trip, it was time to look for a sitter. My dog is not an easy one around strangers. She's very shy and takes several minutes to warm up to anyone new and has an intimidating (nothing behind it) bark. Alicia handled it great and made me feel at ease that the transition was successful with lots of pictures and updates. It's so nice to know that I can leave her and she will be in good hands.
Alicia was great! Very respectful and communicated well. We felt comfortable having her dog-sit and house-sit for our two large dogs (who can be a handful at times.) We definitely will reach back out to her for help again this year.
Our dogs and cats loved Alicia! She gave them great outside time and walks every day, and treats to let them know we missed them. Her daily updates with photos put us at ease that she had everything well in-hand. And the house looked great when we got back, too! Would definitely recommend!
