Responsible, professional, reliable
Pet care experience
I started pet-sitting through Rover in 2020 and have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, turtles, chickens, and even a few reptiles. I have three rabbits of my own who are completely spoiled, and several regular clients whose pets I consider to be my part-time pets. I have experience with giving medications (oral and injectable) but do ask that you show me how your pet is used to taking these medications so we can keep it consistent. One of my own rabbits is a special needs bunny, so I am more than capable of working with any special needs. Let's talk about it! **Please note: I take pride in going above and beyond for all of my clients, but I do politely request that you only send a request once you're sure you are committed to hiring a sitter. If we do a meet and greet and we aren't a great fit, that's absolutely fine! If your plans change, I understand. But please be just as respectful of my time as I will be of yours. I will not reserve my schedule for potential bookings for new clients until the visit has been booked and paid, but may consider holding potential bookings for repeat clients at my discretion.

BEST DOG GONE ROVER SITTER THERE IS!
Fantastic communication and care for my kids, I couldn't ask for more. I look forward to having Alicia back to care for our kids. Thank you.
Thank you Alicia for taking such wonderful care of our Hendrix. The peace of mind you gave was worth more than any money paid. You’re awesome!
Alicia and Cory took excellent care of Birdie and Bogey. Our dogs love them and they love staying in their home.

In your home, I let your pet take the lead and show me how they're comfortable interacting. For some this means lots of belly rubs and playtime, and for some pets it means just making sure they stay safe while they do their own thing. I'm happy to accommodate any end of the spectrum! I treat your home and your pet just like it was my own. In my home, your pet can roam half of the house freely but will need to be crate trained for overnight. We have a fenced yard for supervised play. My husband works from home and can give play and potty breaks periodically during his work day, but most of our play time will be in the evening. *For safety purposes, I cannot accommodate reactive dogs at my home due to all adjacent properties having dogs.*

Information Alicia N. would like to know about your pet
Please tell me about their temperament with strangers, their favorite treats, and if they are prone to trying to make a break for it! These help me keep your pet safe. I also need to know if your dog has ever been aggressive toward other pets. I don't have any breed preferences, but I don't feel comfortable walking large dogs unless they are well trained on a leash. This is for my safety as well as your pet's safety.
A typical day
I can promise your pet will get the same amount of love and attention that my own pets receive! We have a great neighborhood for walks if your pet is well trained on a leash. For boarding: A typical week day includes a potty break in the morning and some roam time to stretch the legs until we go to work, 1-2 potty breaks during the work day, and then lots of love and attention in the evening. Depending on your pet's energy level, we might play outside, go for a walk, or we can hang out and watch TV. I have several types of toys but encourage you to bring their favorite.

Availability
I work full time and am unable to accommodate drop-ins during the middle of the day during the week, however, I would be happy to discuss this on a case-by-case basis. When booking, it helps me if you also include what time of day you need. Monday through Friday I am unable to care for pets who cannot go for at least 4 hours without being let out.
