My day starts early — I wake up at 5:30am and let the dogs out first thing in the morning to start their day on a consistent routine. Breakfast is typically served around 7am, and dinner is between 4–5pm. I believe structure and routine help dogs feel secure and balanced while they’re away from home.

Information Alicia L. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best care possible, I like to learn about your dog ahead of time so I can prepare appropriately. • Does your dog experience separation anxiety when you leave? • Are they afraid of other dogs or people? • Do they have any specific habits, quirks, or routines that help them feel comfortable? I also ask that you let me know if your dog is currently in heat. Some of the dogs I care for are not fixed, so this is very important for maintaining a safe and controlled environment.
A typical day
Our day starts early at 5:00am with an immediate potty break outside. While the dogs are taking care of business, I prepare everyone’s meals to keep things running smoothly and on schedule. After breakfast, the fun begins — the dogs enjoy about three hours of active play and engagement before settling down for a well-deserved nap. Once they’re recharged, we’re ready to do it all over again! I believe balanced play and rest are key to happy, well-adjusted dogs.To maintain a safe and healthy environment for all dogs in my care, I require up-to-date vaccination records and a current photo of your dog prior to their stay. I reserve the right to refuse any dog showing signs of illness, including coughing or sneezing, or evidence of fleas. This policy helps ensure a safe, comfortable experience for every pup.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’ve been caring for dogs since 2018 and have extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I take a holistic approach to dog care, focusing not just on supervision, but on understanding behavior, body language, and overall well-being to ensure your pup feels safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away. I’m comfortable providing basic training support during overnight stays, including reinforcing good manners, leash skills, and consistency with your home routines. My goal is to maintain structure while giving your dog plenty of love, attention, and positive interaction. For overnight stays, I ask that you provide your dog’s food, treats, and bedding to help them feel comfortable and at home. Safety is very important to me we have a secure 7-foot fenced yard. A collar and leash are required at drop-off to ensure smooth and safe transitions. I treat every dog like family and pride myself on clear communication, reliability, and personalized care. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!
Reviews

My Wanda was well taken care of. She gave updates and pictures and was very communicative.

I had been using Alicia for several months to care for my cats, but unfortunately my most recent experience raised serious concerns. During the first scheduled 30 minute visit, the “individual” who came to my home was present for only 3 minutes, according to my Ring camera. The following morning, a different person arrived to care for my cats after I had raised this concern with Alicia about her amount of time spent there that evening. Additionally, Alicia requested to change the next PM scheduled visit time by approximately 2.5 hours, which further added to my concerns, especially given the lack of transparency about who was entering my home and how long visits were actually lasting. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable continuing services and requested a refund. Due to these issues, I will not be using Alicia in the future. I encourage other pet owners to be cautious and ensure they are fully aware of who has access to their home and is providing care for their pets.

Alicia took excellent care of Buddy- highly recommend!

Alicia went above and beyond for our baby Jett!! We were in a panic because our original sitter had to cancel last minute and Alicia responded to my request right away and was willing to help us out. She had great communication with us and sent us regular updates through the day. She even took the cutest Christmas photo shoot of Jett! We could not be happier! So thankful to have found Alicia! We will definitely be coming back when we’re in town 😊
