I had a rescue dog and took care of him for several years. I also took care of my mom’s senior dog who had vision and bladder control issues. I have dog and cat sit for friends with many different breeds and sizes. I grew up with two cats in my household and am comfortable caring for them. I enjoy being around cats just as much as dogs. :) I make sure to carry out the instructions owners leave for me and am meticulous about keeping their place and pet as clean as possible. I love to play with and take pets for long walks or to the park.

Alicia, was an outstanding host for our pups.she met us at a park before booking to get to know the dogs and had me over to her place so I could see where they would stay. I have two bigger dogs and one is a senior. She gave meds no problem. One of the pups was feeling sick from the extreme heat. She was quick to switch to a mild diet to keep him comfortable. She updated daily with photos and videos of how they were doing. I am not sure that you will find a more conscientious, loving, and communicative pet sitter. She was amazing.
Alicia takes great care of the cats, and goes above and beyond when non-pet related issues come up. Thank you so much for starting the basement sump pump while I drove home to deal with the flooded basement!
While my cat is normally resilient on her own, I knew with a few extra days away this year that she really needed a friend to come check up on her. Alicia was the perfect person for the job! Incredibly flexible around coordinating a meet and greet, so compassionate, and follows instructions to a T! I could not have asked for a better first experience with Rover. Thank you Alicia!!

Schedule
I am available every week day from 9 am -9 pm except Thursdays from 4-9 pm. I am available all day Friday through Sunday.

Safety, trust & environment
I have had dogs in my home before and am comfortable with any kind of care they need. I can put them in a crate or leave them out of a crate for overnights. I will also take them for walks around the neighborhood or let them run around in the yard. I am happy to play fetch or throw toys for them. I will make sure they get food, water, and medicine at their regularly scheduled times.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs to the dog park if they interact well with other dogs. I will also take them to a forest preserve for a long walk along the trails.
