Bubbly and warm welcoming sitter 😻
I’ve been an animal lover all my life, growing up our house was nick named the zoo (we had many animals) I have taken care of dogs/cats of every kind since I was young. I’ve always had a passion for animals and taking care of not only my own, but my friends pets as well. My friends like to nickname me mama bear and the animal whisperer 😻 I’ve volunteered at spca and currently looking into opportunities out here in Nelson as I moved only a few months ago from Alberta. I’m a huge outdoors person, I love to hike, go for jogs and be in nature. I’m an empath and am really good with feeling people and pet energies, I’m also an early riser and have my own vehicle so I’m open to morning walks. I plan to open up my own pet sitting business in near future, and would love nothing more than to provide a warm welcoming environment for fur friends. I’m very kind and friendly, I can easily strike up conversation and get along with almost anyone. Feel free to ask me any questions and or meet me before hand. Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure fur friends are safe, being aware of my surroundings and double checking gates, doors and locks. I want to make sure they have plenty of water and food, and well taken care of. I like to imagine being in the shoes of if my cats were being taken care by someone, how would I want my fur babies to be treated and I’d want them to feel comfortable/loved! So I give that service back to others.

Alicia took excellent care of our two beloved cats and our home! She was very communicative, sent lots of pictures and asked questions if she was unsure - rather than making assumptions. Our cats completely warmed up to and trusted her, which means the world to us. We are certain they were in good hands! We so appreciate Alicia's dedication and kindness, she truly went above and beyond for us and our fur babies. ♡ Thank you!
Alisha was great, she kept me updated on how my boy was doing, walked Otis daily and she handled everything professionally. The only curtique I would give is for her is to limit updates to once a day, unless it's an emergency because I found it to be a bit distracting I would highly recommend her and will be using her services in the future.

Alicia has a true love for fury friends. She has a big loving heart for all animals! She is responsible, trustworthy and full of fun when it comes to dogs and cats. Cats seem to be attracted to her warm spirit and always love to cuddle with her. If she could she would bring any stray home to give them a loving protected happy home.

Schedule
I am pretty flexible to work around a schedule, Monday and Wednesdays however I'm gone throughout the day till the evening due to college. I am focusing on my career, however enjoy having pet sitting on the side. Do note that I can do constant care for house sitting bookings, however depending on the type of care this can range anywhere from 100-150 a day. (normally this is for puppies and or dogs with high attention needs) I like a week notice for sittings, if short notice booking comes in less than a week, I do charge an extra fee to move around my schedule and to also provide the proper care for the animals ahead of time.
