Alicia is very detailed in making sure pets are cared for! Our dog loved her every time she was around Alicia. She is very communicative with any updates and informs you of any issues that may come up. We love her and would recommend her to anyone to care for their pets!
I have known Alicia Colston for 8 years, and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most caring, responsible, and genuinely warm people I know — especially when it comes to animals. Alicia has looked after my German Shepherd, Lilo, on multiple occasions, and every single time I've come home to a happy, well-cared-for dog. She has always owned multiple pets that are well loved and cared for, from Cats and Dogs to Rabbits. She pays attention to each pet's personality and needs, has excellent communication skills, and genuinely enjoys time she spends with animals. German shepherds are typically one-person animals and can be difficult to handle; Lilo is no exception, but she absolutely loves Alicia and that says everything. When I think of a pet person, Alicia is the first person who comes to mind. She’s had every kind of pet imaginable—dogs, cats, rabbits—and she treats each one like a member of the family. Alicia has a gentle, nurturing spirit; I’ve never once heard her say anything negative about an animal. Instead, she sees the best in every pet she cares for. She values them deeply, and she respects their owners, making sure both are completely comfortable and happy in her care. I can’t think of anyone better suited for Rover.

Schedule
I work part time, and my summer schedule is especially flexible as my main job follows the school year cycle. I am home a lot during the summer and have the ability to stay home if necessary as I know some pets need constant attention and oversight.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and a 4 year old lab mix who LOVES to play! She will definitely help keep your pup entertained for hours. I have never had any issues with her being aggressive; she truly thinks everyone is her friend. I also have a German Shepherd! She’s sweet, but does tend to be a bit territorial. She likes to appear aggressive, but has actually done very well with other dogs! I have never experienced her causing an actual dog fight.
Pets
A typical day
My typical day is pretty low-key. But I love taking the dogs outside to play fetch or chase bubbles! I also have a great neighborhood for walking, so we can definitely incorporate that into our day.
