I work weekdays (typically 9-5 or 1-9 shifts), so here's how my care fits around your pet's day: Overnight stays: Before I leave for work, your pet gets breakfast, a walk or potty break, and some playtime to burn off energy. When I'm back, the rest of the evening is all theirs — dinner, walks, play, and plenty of cuddles through the night. Weekends: I'm all yours! No day job on weekends means full availability for walks, drop-ins, and overnights. Walks & drop-in visits: Available around my weekday shifts and anytime on weekends. Please book in advance — I can't usually accommodate same-day requests, but with a little notice I'll make it work! The more notice, the better — especially for holidays. Message me and we'll find a schedule that keeps your pet happy and comfortable!

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Since I care for pets in your home, they stay in the environment where they feel safest — surrounded by familiar sights, smells, and routines. I follow your instructions to the letter: feeding schedules, portion sizes, medications, house rules, and any quirks your pet has. Dogs are always leashed and wearing secure collars or harnesses on walks, and I double-check doors, gates, and windows before and after every visit so there's never a chance of an escape. With 7 years of experience and daily work around animals, I'm attentive to the small stuff — changes in appetite, energy, or behavior that might signal something's wrong. I'll always keep you informed with updates and photos, and I'll contact you right away if anything ever seems off. Your home is treated with the same respect as your pet: I keep things clean and tidy, and your keys and entry information stay secure. You can relax knowing both your pet and your home are in careful, trustworthy hands.

Information alicia C. would like to know about your pet

To give your pet the best possible care, here's what's helpful for me to know before our first booking (the meet-and-greet is a great time to go over it all!): About your pet: - Feeding routine: what they eat, how much, and when - Walk and potty schedule, and any leash habits or quirks - Medications: what, when, and how they like to take them - Personality: are they shy, social, anxious, protective? How do they feel about strangers, other dogs, kids? - Any fears or triggers (thunderstorms, fireworks, vacuum cleaners, the doorbell) - Favorite toys, treats, games, and where the best scratches are - Any allergies, health conditions, or things to watch for - Where they sleep and their nighttime routine About your home and schedule: - Entry details: keys, codes, or lockbox info - House rules: rooms that are off-limits, furniture rules, whether pets go outside alone - Your travel dates and the best way to reach you - Your vet's name and number, plus an emergency contact Don't worry about remembering everything — I'll ask plenty of questions at our meet-and-greet, and I always encourage owners to leave notes. The more I know, the more seamless it is for your pet!

A typical day

For overnight stays, your pet's day starts bright and early with breakfast, fresh water, and a morning walk or backyard time to get their energy out and take care of business. We'll squeeze in some play before I head out for the day — I want them relaxed and content, not restless. When I'm back, the evening belongs to them! Dinner is served on schedule, followed by a good walk, playtime with their favorite toys, and any medications they need. Then we settle in for the best part: couch cuddles, belly rubs, and relaxing together at home. I stay the night, so your pet is never alone after dark — they'll have their favorite person-substitute right there with them. For walks and drop-in visits, your pet gets my full attention for the entire visit: exercise, fresh food and water, potty breaks or litter care, playtime, and plenty of love. I always leave things clean and your pet happy. Every day includes photo updates so you can see those happy faces for yourself. My goal is simple: when you come home, you find a relaxed, happy pet who barely noticed you were gone (though they'll still be thrilled to see you!).

Pet care experience

Hi! I'm Alicia, and I'll love your pets like they're my own. I've been a professional pet sitter for 7 years, caring for dogs, cats, and more of every age, size, and personality. I offer in-home care — overnight stays, dog walks, and drop-in visits — so your pets stay where they're happiest: at home with their own bed and routine. No kennel stress, just a new friend showing up with treats and belly rubs. I'm comfortable with medications, senior pets, and special needs, and as a rescue dog mom myself, I know what it means to trust someone with your best friend. That's why every new client gets a free meet-and-greet first — so your pet can decide if they like me (they will!). Message me anytime — I'd love to meet your furry family!

I couldn’t recommend a better person to dog sit/ house sit! Alicia is amazing when it comes to animals. She always goes above and beyond. I have a reactive rescue which can be a little daunting to some but not her, she took great care with her. If you’re looking for a dog sitter she is your girl! She will love your animals like they’re her own!
