Reports, words, photos and videos of your pet may not tell the full story. We recommend being exacting with your needs for your pets. Include a specific start and end time on Rover, not a range. Be careful when listing the maximum hours your pet should be left alone with care, and how many times per day your pet should be left alone. Our digital door lock provided a fuller story of how our nearly 16 year old, nearly blind, dog was cared for. For example, on the first day, Alicia arrived shortly after 10 a.m. The arrival window was 8-10am. We’d left for the airport at 5:30am. She stayed 1.5 hours and was gone for 5.5 hours. She then stayed for 3 hours and left for another 4 hours to “check on her cat”. That first day Alicia was with our senior dog 4.5 hours during the day time. Each day, sometime between 1:30-3am, the front door was unlocked and then locked.

Alicia was great!! I have had some poor experiences with pet sitters in the past, and Alicia was sure to address my concerns and made me super comfortable with her taking care of my babies. She did a fantastic job following the schedule I had laid out for my pets, and sent me plenty of updates and photos. She also went above and beyond and helped with cleaning up my pets’ spaces and keeping my home tidy. I cannot recommend Alicia enough. She was so great to work with and my pets love her!!
