I work full time at the zoo, so I’ll be away from 7am - 5:30pm. When I'm not working, I will be with your pet on my days off (Sunday and Monday) and as soon I enter your door once I’m off! I don't like leaving them unless needed.

While I'm caring for your pet in your home, I make sure to take them out potty as often as they need it. I like to keep them on their usual schedule as though their parents are still home!

I don't have a breed preference. I have worked with dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. Pit bulls to Mastiffs. If I needed to know anything, it would be if they have a potty schedule, little quirks, how they handle storms/fireworks etc..
A typical day
If your family pup is active, I like to go on runs or long walks. But if you're pup likes to relax and enjoy just random spurts of playing, I'm down to get on the floor to burn of that energy. We would play fetch, wrestle, train for treats, and other activities that your pup usually plays! I’m a fan of enrichment for all animals.

Pet care experience
Since I was a child, I've always had a furry family member. I worked in a doggy daycare/boarding facilities where I would administer medication, feed their specific food, walk the dogs every 2-3 hours, and also having enough time to cuddle and play. I also work with animals professionally every day. Caring for animals of all sizes and species is my career! There are so many animals that need our help. I have rescued dogs that required medical attention. Once better, I’d find them a forever home. It's amazing seeing their life changed from hard times to actual love. I lived with and cared for my grandparents. They taught me how to care for puppies since I was a child because they had always had one. An added bonus: I try to get the best pictures of your fur babies!

Great communication and lots of pictures!
Alicia was great! She stayed at our house with our 2 dogs and cat. She brushed our shepherd, gave transdermal medicine to our cat and gave Benadryl to our itchy pup who has allergies. She also kept the house super clean and picked up dog poop too! We will definitely use her again
Alicia was wonderful --took great care of our boys and our house. She sent plenty of pictures and spent time with them enjoying the backyard. She was very responsive and helpful!
Alicia did a great job house sitting and taking care of my dog Lemon. She communicated regularly and I was so happy to get frequent updates and pictures of my sweet pup. Before I left, she asked all the right questions and I could tell she was very experienced with taking care of dogs. I will definitely reach out to her in the future when I go out of town. Thanks for taking such good care of my favorite girl!
