I know how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your pet. I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure, and I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or sensitive animals. I’m very attentive to safety (secure doors, safe feeding, clean spaces) and always make sure your home is left just as you expect. I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

I’d love to hear about their personality, favorite activities, daily routine, what makes them nervous, and all those funny little quirks that make them uniquely them. The more I know about your pet, the easier it is to make them comfortable and happy while they’re with me. My goal is for them to have a fun, loving experience and hopefully look forward to seeing me again!
A typical day
I love finding fun ways to keep pets both mentally and physically engaged! Depending on their personality and comfort level, that might mean interactive play, exploring, enrichment, scent games, training, outdoor time, or simply spending quality one-on-one time together (all species specific). I’ll always take their individual interests and energy level into account and make sure they’re having fun while also feeling comfortable and cared for.

I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years and truly treat every pet like my own. I have a degree in animal behavior, experience working in veterinary clinics, and have been training dogs since 2015. I also have extensive experience with cats and a wide range of other species, including exotics (allowing me to offering in-home boarding for exotic pets). I’m comfortable adapting my care to different temperaments, routines, and needs, whether that’s an energetic pup, a shy cat, or a more specialized pet. My goal is always to provide calm, attentive, and reliable care so your pet feels safe and at ease while you are away 🖤🐾

I’ve had Alicia stay at my house and take care of my dog Joy multiple times, and I honestly couldn’t feel better about leaving Joy in her care. I know my dog is safe, happy, and being well taken care of, which gives me peace of mind when I’m away. Alicia also has experience working in a veterinary office, so I really appreciate the knowledge she has about animals, their needs, and knowing what to look out for. It certainly gives me an extra level of comfort. She’s also helped train Joy, including working on her reactivity, basic obedience, and other behaviors, and I’ve seen a real difference from the time and consistency she puts in. Alicia is sweet, reliable, respectful of my home, compassionate about animals and genuinely great with my dog. It’s hard to find someone you feel this comfortable leaving your pet with, and I’m really glad I found her! You’ll be happy you did too.

From walks and check ins on dogs and cats to boarding small exotics I know she has it covered whatever they need and that they will be taken care of like they are her own. Alicia is both caring and skilled with animals. She is kind and gentle with them. Having years of experience in both a professional and personal setting, she is perfect for all your animal care needs. During a personal emergency of mine, she dedicated herself to coming to my house to care for my cat while I was away. She also has done dog walking for me as well. You won't be disappointed!
Alicia is great with all of my animals- a dog and 2 senior cats. She is very trustworthy and reliable, which to me is most important when it comes to my fur babies. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!
