I'm a front desk receptionist of a medical office, so my availabilities will be limited to Tuesdays and weekends, as well as holidays. I translate as well, and although the schedule regarding this isn't strict, I will let you know 3 days in advance before I prepare for the day of that I will be absent.

I will feed according to the instructions, clean the floors, counters, and surfaces to make the space as allergen safe as possible for both the animals and myself! I will send photos/videos every few days (unless long term-- then it's everyday for the first week) to reassure you of your animals' well-being! I will ask questions for any clarification and be fully transparent when something comes up (tutoring/translating) and accommodate food/water as such.

Please let me know if there's a specific medication or type of need a pet may need special attention to, such as allergies (e.g. with dust allergies, I clean around the house more often throughout the week) and nutritional aspects (e.g. if usually dehydrated, I will put more water in their wet food and frequently check on the water).

I usually stay in the house, and tend to their food and water needs first, and I watch them eat because they sometimes feel more secure when I'm present while they do so. After that, I give them their space on what they want to do, like nap or play. Play time is according to what specific toys that are already in the house that the pet parent has informed me of, and if there are animal fights (like cats), I break them up when it gets intense. By the first week, the animals already know what visual or auditory cue I give them to signal that I'm watching and to behave.

I've taken care of my friend's cat on and off since I was 2014, and the cat has become a special part of me, as with every cat I encounter. I would pride myself in being a considerate person around animals, so I will patiently earn the trust of animals as well as their parents. I send photos/videos every few days to make sure they're reassured of their well-being, as well as bring up concerns immediately, such as allergies the pet may be sensitive to (such as dust). If there are care instructions printed out, I will follow them and ask questions if I need to. Caring for pets is not just about me; it's about the parents and the sitter working together!

Alice is truly wonderful and a pleasure to be around. We love her, the cats love and trust her, and she's awesome with communication and always very thoughtful.
