Animals of all kinds have always been a big part of my life from my pet chickens and cats as a child to the 6 dogs I had as an adult. I owned at least one dog from 1968 until 2021. My dogs were always part of rhe family, even taking camping trips with us.I have taken care a number of friend’s and family’s dogs. Now I enjoy dog sitting in my home. Gives me dog love with more freedom.

Alice was a great sitter for Oscar, who is an incredibly timid fella. She was very caring and attentive, her quiet home was exactly what Oscar needed to feel as comfortable as he could with us away. I highly recommend her to any who are looking for a great sitter.
We were very lucky to find Alice on our first boarding experience with Rover. We were provided updates throughout our trip and it was obvious Kya and Alice were a good fit. Would highly recommend.
Alice is such a friendly person. We felt very good about leaving Teddy with her for a few days. She has had pets before and knows how to show special attention to your pet when they come to stay. We will definitely consider her for another stay in the future.

Chloe had a great day with Alice! This was her first visit but they seemed to bond right away (Chloe gave her kisses within about 5 minutes). When we returned, Chloe showed us around the house and was dropping her toys at Alice's feet to play. This is SO much better than boarding her at a kennel or a place with lots of other dogs! Thanks Alice, we'll definitely be back!
Alice is nothing short of amazing!! We’ve never boarded our dog before and I was looking on rover for someone and found her profile. We did a meet and greet at her house. Our pup Jax took a little bit to warm up but after that he was fine! Alice is very kind, informative and worked with our schedule. We needed someone for 10 days. She also had no issues with his eating schedule. While we were on vacation she kept us informed on how Jax was doing. She also went out of her way to make sure we were having a great vacation as well and told us not to worry one bit. Her home is very cozy, clean and welcoming. She has a lot of room for any pet to roam around. She also has a great sized back yard which Jax loved. We will most definitely always contact Alice when we need any babysitting or boarding services! I think Jax would’ve stayed longer if we would’ve let him. :) We could tell Jax was treated exceptionally well and he had a great time. Thanks again! Jen&Casey

Schedule
When available, I am home full time except for short periods away to run errands and for social events. Love playing with dogs and enjoying their companionship.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard, 7 foot wooden fence. I always go out with the dog or in inclement weather, watch from the door until they are ready to come in. They are allowed anyplace in my home but prefer they be in a crate at night. Have a large wire crate which is in my bedroom.
A typical day
I love to play with dog, ball, tug, hide and seek, whatever they enjoy. I garden so during garden season am often out in the fenced yard with them. I am very active but because of my age, I will not leash walk your dog but will provide plenty of cuddles, play and love.
