Loving second home for furry friends
I’ve had experience with my family dog growing up, my own dog (no longer with us) and have also looked after dogs for friends and family. Our household is an animal-loving one - all animals included! We have a pet Guinea pig, Ron, who is the most pampered piggie. He is safe from dogs, in a crate of his own in the lounge (indoor piggie). He can be relocated if dogs find him distracting. My partner will be around quite a lot, he has had multiple dogs in his adult life and still regularly walks his daughters lurchers. My son is 10 and has always been a huge dog-lover. He’s been brought up to be respectful of all animals and to not get in their space. He’s very grown up for his age and will always be careful with animals.

Alice and her family were lovely and welcoming when we took Bronson round to meet them. She clearly loves dogs and wanted to know as much about his routine as possible so she could keep it the same. Bronson came home happy and tired. I would not hesitate to leave Bronson with Alicecagain and I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Alice

Highly recommend. And I felt more than happy to leave our boy in Alice’s hands. Don’t think my dog actually wanted to come home lol. He had a fabulous time and I was given lots of updates. Such a kind family and will 100% be booking again in the future :-)
We can’t speak highly enough of Alice and how much she cared for Frankie while he was staying with her. We will be coming back as finding someone who loves your dog just as much as you means the world. We were kept up to date throughout and Frankie was taken care of so well.
Alice is an amazing sitter and I couldn’t think of anyone I’d be more happy to hand Dougie over to! She’s so kind and clearly adores dogs - she’s very attentive and couldn’t do enough to make Dougie feel at home. She gave regular updates which were lovely to get. This was my first time using a sitter on Rover but I couldn’t have had a better first experience. I will absolutely be using Alice again if I need any dog sitting in the future!
I can't speak highly enough of Alice and her family for taking such good care of our sensitive boy Sunny. Alice had arranged a pre booking visit so she and Sunny could meet, which went very well. To see his excited, wagging tail as he approached Alice's house on the weekend of his doggy holiday was such a relief, as normally he is so nervous. Asking what kind of communication we'd like, Alice sent us updates twice a day which reassured us Sunny was content in our absence. He was well cared for and looked super happy, as well as sufficiently tired after good walks. He ate well, which he doesn't always do when we leave him with someone he doesn't know, which tells us how comfortable he was in Alice's care. Also, we felt Alice is a lovely human and a pleasure to communicate with, and Sunny certainly agreed! We're so pleased we've found a good dog sitter and will definitely be using Alice and her family again.

Schedule
I currently work part time, over 3 days (school hours). I am off work on a Tuesday and then Friday to Sunday. We would be able to look after dogs, ideally, over a long weekend.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a back courtyard which is fully secured with high walls and a high wooden gate with no gaps. So dogs can freely go outside for a toilet break, with no risk of escape. We have the denes very close by, which is the perfect place to walk dogs! Dogs can roam around the house freely, ideally they would sleep on their own bed…but I totally understand if they like to be on the big bed! Dogs are always allowed on the sofa for snuggles!
A typical day
We will go to the local park area - plenty of green space for a run around (if they’re allowed off the lead)! We may also go into town and get a coffee and a puppy-cino, whether permitting!
