I’ve grown up with dogs and owned them my whole life, and I’ve always loved being around animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for other people’s pets through walking, sitting, and working at a kennel, so I’m comfortable with all breeds, ages, and personalities. I studied Bioveterinary Science at university and also completed a PhD in the control of infectious diseases, which has given me a strong understanding of animal health, welfare, and behaviour. I now have my own dog, Pip, who is an 8-year-old whippet. He’s very sweet and gentle and loves the company of other dogs. I’m calm, reliable, and happy to follow any routines, training, or special instructions to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.

Alice took care of our two boys Dylan & Blaze for a week whilst we went on holiday. They had a great time and enjoyed two walks each day and made great friends with Pip, Alice’s own dog. Each day we received photos and videos keeping us informed and up to date on all their antics! We will definitely ask Alice to look after our boys again and recommend her to everyone.
Hades had an amazing time, Alice kept us update loads and really settled my mind about him being well behaved.
Alice looked after Frankie for us for the first time this past weekend, and we couldn’t be happier. She was caring, reliable, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. Frankie was well looked after and settled, which gave us great peace of mind. We’ll definitely be using Alice again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog sitter.

Schedule
I work full-time, but I work from home around three days a week (the days vary), and I’ll update my availability weekly. Your dog will be cared for like one of my own while they’re with me and will never be left unattended. I’m also usually around on weekends, so I can often help out then too

My garden is fully fenced, so dogs can safely enjoy time outside. I’m also happy to follow any routines or instructions you leave — from walks and feeding to anything else — to keep things familiar, consistent, and stress-free for your pet.

A typical day
A typical day with me is calm, caring, and centred around your pet’s needs. Your dog will be looked after like one of my own and never left unattended. They’ll enjoy walks, along with regular check-ins throughout the day. There will be plenty of toilet breaks in my fully fenced garden, where they can safely stretch their legs and relax. Indoors, there are lots of comfy sofas for snoozing and settling in between activities. I’ll feed them as required and make sure they always have access to fresh water. I’m happy to stick closely to your dog’s usual routine so they feel comfortable, settled, and right at home while you’re away.

- Please let me know if your dog has any special behaviours, quirks, or needs so I can make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I also require a meet-and-greet before the stay, where your dog can meet me and be introduced to my dog, Pip, to make sure everyone gets along and feels happy and relaxed.
