Hi, I'm Alice! I work in pet care full time and spend my days walking dogs and caring for pets across Belfast. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality, routines, and little quirks. I have many years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and over 20 years of experience caring for cats. My work involves daily dog walks, drop in visits, feeding, litter care, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away. I am currently studying the Canine Training Instructor Course with the Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT) and working towards Animal Training Instructor (ATI) accreditation. This course focuses on canine behaviour, communication and science based positive training methods. It helps me better understand how dogs think, how they communicate, and how to keep them feeling safe and confident during walks and visits. A typical walk or visit with me includes plenty of time for sniffing and exploring, positive interaction, and careful attention to your pet’s comfort and safety. I also send regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is getting on while you’re away. I’m comfortable caring for: • puppies • senior dogs • energetic breeds • nervous or shy pets • multi pet households • cats and small animals I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I always take the time to learn their routine and make sure they feel safe, exercised and well cared for. I’m always happy to arrange a meet and greet before bookings so you and your pet can feel completely comfortable. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for your pet in your home, I aim to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel relaxed and comfortable while you’re away. I always take the time to understand your pet’s habits, preferences and any instructions you’d like followed. During visits I make sure food, water and any other daily needs are taken care of, along with plenty of attention and interaction so your pet still gets company and stimulation. I’m always mindful and respectful of your home and make sure everything is left tidy and secure before I leave. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you know how they’re getting on during each visit.

Alice Maria cared for our skittish girl Elsa for a week while we were away on holiday. She was so patient with Elsa and was able to check on her to make sure she was safe without disturbing her too much and gave us great updates on how well our girl was doing while we were away from her. We're looking forward to booking with Alice Maria again for our next holiday.
Alice was amazing with Alfie and Mollie while we were away. She was accommodating of us and was patient with my two babies who can be defensive and stand offish at first (to say the least!). Alice was patient and knew exactly how to deal with them. We got updates with each visit with photos which put a real smile on our faces, and we would highly recommend Alice and will be definitely booking with her again in the future.

Schedule
Pet care is my full time work, so I’m usually able to offer a flexible schedule to help when owners need it. Between my regular clients and occasional bookings I always do my best to accommodate visits where I can. I’m typically available from 8:30am onwards, but feel free to reach out if you have something specific in mind and I’ll always try my best to help.
Prices include all fees.
