Grew up surrounded by dogs
I have been surrounded by dogs since the day I was born, they have always been part of my family. I have three of my own, a Jack Russell, a Basset Fauve de Bretagne and a Labrador, plus my family's dogs, with up to 8 dogs in the house at once during the holiday periods, so I am very comfortable with dogs of every size, breed and personality. I love playing with dogs just as much as caring for them, whether it is a proper game of fetch or hide and seek around the house, since my dogs always loved that. Honestly, if you find me at a party, a pub or any public space, chances are I have gone missing and ended up curled up somewhere befriending whatever dog is around, my friends know it is a losing battle at this point and just leave me to it. I have always been the one to walk my family's dogs, train them and teach them new tricks, and over the years I have gotten quite good at reading dog behaviour. One of my own dogs had a tendency to be reactive, so I know how to spot the early signs, manage the situation calmly and avoid unnecessary interactions when out and about. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. My beloved Jack Russell, Diego, sadly passed away recently at 16, and in his final years he needed extra care and patience that I was glad to give him. I moved to London for my studies and I miss my dogs terribly, so getting the chance to dog sit here would genuinely make my day, not feel like a job at all.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a flat with flatmates and we have a small ground floor garden, tiled rather than grass, so your dog will still have some safe outdoor space to relax in during the day. Indoors, I keep things calm and comfortable, with fresh water always available and a cosy spot to settle in while I am looking after them. If I am visiting your dog at your own home instead, I follow your routine closely and make sure they have everything they need, food, water, walks and company, exactly as you would want. I treat every dog as if they were my own, so you can expect the same attention, patience and affection I gave my own dogs growing up.
Ratings and reviews
When I went on holiday, my dog Xena stayed with Ali since Xena scares easily and genuinely only trusts a handful of people. I was honestly a bit nervous about leaving her, but Ali was brilliant, patient, gentle, and never pushed things too fast. By the end of the stay Xena had completely warmed up to her, which says a lot given how selective she usually is. I would trust Ali with Xena again without a second thought, and I think any nervous or anxious dog would do really well in her care.
When I started a full time job, I needed someone reliable to walk my dog during the day, and Alice was exactly that. She came consistently for an hour long walks, and my dog always came back happily tired and thoroughly satisfied, which told me she was getting proper exercise and attention, not just a quick trip round the block. Alice was punctual, communicative, and clearly comfortable handling a dog with energy to burn. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone needing a dependable dog walker.
I have known Ali for years and she is genuinely one of the most dog obsessed people I know, in the best possible way. My little sausage dog can be a right handful, but Ali has always been brilliant with her, patient, attentive, and somehow always knows exactly what she needs. Whenever we are out and there is a dog nearby, you can guarantee Ali has already made a new best friend. Any dog would be lucky to have her looking after them, and I would recommend her without hesitation!
I have watched Ali grow up with dogs her whole life, and it shows in how naturally she cares for them. Feeding, walks, training, she took all of it on herself without ever needing to be asked. When our Jack Russell Diego got older, she was the one who gave him extra patience and attention in his final years. She does not just look after dogs, she genuinely loves them, and I would trust her with any animal without a second thought.
Ali has looked after my dogs several times and they absolutely adore her, honestly more than they adore me sometimes! She is fantastic with walks, playtime, and picking up on their moods, and she always sends updates and photos so I never have to worry. She has a real gift for reading dog behaviour and knows exactly how to keep them calm and happy. I never hesitate to leave my dogs with her, they are always in the best hands.

Schedule
I currently study from home, so I have a flexible schedule most days and plenty of time to give your pup proper attention. I am not set up for overnight stays at the moment, but I am very happy to offer doggy day care, walks, and drop in visits to check on your dog at your own home, whether that is a quick visit to feed and play or a longer stay throughout the day. Since I am rarely tied to a strict timetable, I can easily fit walks and playtime around my study sessions, so your dog would never be left waiting around.
