Alice is absolutely wonderful with our dog Ernie, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough! From the moment he arrives at their home, it’s clear that he is so much more than just a dog in her care, he genuinely becomes part of their little family. Ernie absolutely adores his time with Alice, and we have complete peace of mind knowing he is happy, loved and having the best adventures. Ernie is a large breed and, being young, he can be quite a handful! He has a lot of strength, energy and excitement, which can make managing his behaviour challenging at times, especially during walks on the lead. Alice handles him brilliantly. She is confident, patient and consistent, and has really helped to reinforce his training and improve his behaviour, while still allowing him to be his fun, energetic self. What we love most is that Alice gives Ernie the perfect balance. He gets wonderful, exciting long walks and adventures where he can explore and burn off all that energy, but he also gets plenty of cuddles, affection and time relaxing at home. She genuinely understands him and knows exactly how to manage his personality and needs. Alice also sends us lots of photos of Ernie on his adventures and at home, and provides us with regular updates, which we LOVE! Alice provides exactly what we could hope for in someone caring for our dog; fantastic exercise, excellent handling, lots of love and a real home away from home. We trust her completely with Ernie and feel incredibly lucky to have found someone who cares for him as though he were her own. We have lots of little trips booked over the next year and will be calling on Alice for help with Ernie!
