I work from home 3x per week, so I am able to dog sit on week days and at the weekends (as per my calendar availability). It is a joy for me to be around dogs, so I am also happy to spend my mornings or evenings after work walking a dog or caring for them.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently live in a house with a big garden. There is a gate to the side of the house meaning the garden isn’t fully secure, however I would keep the dog on the lead at all times when out there just to be safe! If I am looking after a dog during the daytime, I will typically take them for a walk before the working day starts (before 9am) and again over lunchtime. I also love playing with dogs indoors throughout the day to keep them occupied!

Information Alice F. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements e.g medication, time outside etc. Please also specify the amount of exercise they need throughout the day and their feeding schedule.
A typical day
If the dog is with me from 7am, I would typically take the dog out for a morning walk ahead of starting work at 8am. I will make sure to take breaks during the morning to play with the dog and to make sure they are able to go outside to the toilet if needed. At lunch, I will take them for a 45 minute - 60 minute walk around the local area (providing this amount of walking is suitable for them). In the afternoon, I tend to work from the living room so that we can cuddle together and have play breaks! Again, I will make sure to take them outside as and when needed. I then finish work at 4pm. If the dog is with me for the evening, we might go on another short walk if needed for them. Otherwise, the evening will involve more cuddles and playing with myself and my partner, James! I will feed the dog and give them treats throughout the day based on the guidance and schedule I have been given from the owner.

Dog lover with years of experience caring for them
Pet care experience
I have looked after dogs since I was age 12, starting with my family dog, Pimms (she is now 14!) and then looking after many friends and family’s dogs in the following years. Alongside Rover, I also have prior experience dog-sitting and dog-walking via Borrow my Doggy, meaning I am well versed in caring for dogs of all types and of totally different personalities! I am my happiest around dogs and am an incredibly caring and attentive person, meaning I can guarantee the best care, kindness and fun for your dog for the whole time I am with them.
Reviews

Very sweet and friendly, Basil had a really lovely relaxed visit. We received pictures throughout and quick communication, was much appreciated. Will definitely be booking in future :) thanks again x

Alice looked after Bailey for a few weeks one or two days a week. Her communication and care for our dog was first class. There were a few occasions where work conflicted with the day care but she let us know in good time to arrange alternatives. Many thanks for looking after our apprehensive and quite anxious little dog. We all really appreciated it.

Alice is great. She showed the perfect mix of patience and encouragement for our slightly anxious dog. Definitely going to strike up a regular sitting with her.
Alice F. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.
