This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any pet sitter across any platform. At first, the sitter seemed kind, communicative, and reliable. But once the booking began, not only did she not follow the simple yet crucial instructions of washing her hands and taking off her shoes, she was also unresponsive and difficult to reach making the experience so much more stressful and unpleasant. The very first night she didn’t make the effort to distinguish between two of my cats and gave the wrong food to each of them. If she had doubts about them, she never reached out to us. I was aLeah’s available. The first visit, she took off her shoes when she arrived, but after leaving, she came back with shoes on. My cats are very sensitive and one is much older, so we have a strict policy of no shoes in the house, which she was made fully aware of not once but several times. When asked about it, she lied and said she always removed shoes. My partner had to rush over late into the night to fix her mistake with their dinner and to clean the floors. He stayed through her next visit to ensure she understood the difference between the cats and followed our instructions. He reminded her that we had pet cameras monitoring their space. Despite all of this, we were back in a position where she violated our protocol again. We saw she didn’t wash her hands again before handling their food. We saw she potentially gave the wrong food again. He came back one morning to vomit, which is rare for them. I tried to reach her as I was traveling and my cats were depending on her. She didn’t respond for 24 hours and didn’t bother showing up for their dinner. After repeated messages and several stressful hours, she responded curtly that she would be nearly two hours late. No apology. No explanation. My partner had to rush over nearing 10pm to give them dinner. I have no idea why this was such a difficult and terrible experience. We are now scrambling to find someone else as we no longer trust our cats wellbeing to her.

Alice was great as always! She was very responsive and also sent very detailed updates daily. My cat loves her company as well. I highly recommend Alice to everyone!
