Dog loving couple. Come for a cosy, loving visit!
Me and my partner Luke have had dogs since childhood. We now have our own Dachshund Marlo (neutered) who is 3 years old. He is a great role model, who loves to play but can equally relax with other dogs for a chill at home. We’d love to provide a safe, calming space for your dog to come for the day or overnight. We have a dog park 2 mins walk away, where we bring Marlo x3 a day for a run and a play. We also have an enclosed back garden, if your dog prefers their own space! Please let us know if you have any questions, we’d love to get to know you and your pet.

Alice and Luke are very responsive and warm. They took very good care of both of our dogs with different age and needs. They asked good questions and followed our instructions, they were gentle with the senior one, and playful with the younger one. Alice and Luke are also very thoughtful about the best care to provide for our dogs, which shows that they are responsible and want to commit to provide the best care the dogs need.
We booked Alice to look after our dog, Obi, while we explored Edinburgh for the day and he honestly had the best time! He was taken taken on a big adventure to St Abbs Head and he came back happy, tired, and full of stories (if only he could tell them!). We were updated with photos throughout the day which really put our minds at ease. Couldn’t have asked for a kinder, more thoughtful sitter. Would 100% book again next time we’re up this way. Alice and Luke took great care of my pup Rosie and made sure she felt at home. Their pup Marlo is very sweet as well.
Alice and Luke took care of my spaniel for 2 nights. Zeta clearly enjoyed her stay and was very fond of the two of them, plus little Marlo! They sent regular updates and were very communicative. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.
Alice and her partner were amazing hosts, very accommodating and easy going with lots of care and attention for our pooch!

Schedule
My partner and I work full time, however we work from home with regular breaks. We are also free to take your pet for the weekend if needed.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced garden to keep your pet safe. We will never leave your dog unsupervised alone, and have a crate we can use if they want their own space away from Marlo.

A typical day
We can visit the park which is a 2 min walk away up to x3 a day for a run and chase, or just a casual stroll. We have loads of toys for playing at home too, or just a comfy nap on the sofa!
